Ok cool.. so you stand by this bad boy???
Will eco carry me at 230. Ish???
Will 500 watts do the trick

derp ya watched this before i got it and ya bang on thanks
I kept thinking my screen was frozen. haha
Lol sorry about that. I shot this on my old phone and all of my first person footage came out poorly so I relied a lot on those static perspective shots
I bought one and its does same test as the video l am happy and l just commute short distance and l am 6 feet 2 inches tall and weight 260 and it carrys me fine no problem l am happy with my scooter its my buddy.
Wish I would of seen this earlier...
I bought a gas powered...
And I've only had it 6 nightmarish days...
And now tha won't return it im so pissssssssseddd
how is it in the rain? I know online it says it's not water proof but what's your experince with puddles and etc?
Now that you've had the scooter for a while. How is it holding up? Any problems/issues?
Trash scooters. Trash service. No usa service, repairs, parts, nothing. Gotrax is a us warehouse for fully chinese assembled and made scooters. They have an F rating on the Dallas Texas better business bureau. Outright lie about using lg batteries. Inside are generic chinese.
@@AMoneyVideo Good to know, thanks!
Thet was a very good review on a standard scuter
So how does it have more power if its the same motor ?
I way 230 something...will it haul me??
I am 210 and have a 12% incline on mmy commute. Liked your hill climb. Thx.
Do you make it up the hill????
does anyone know if you can see the mileage on the gotrax ultra.
I've had my ultra for 9 months and everything has gone down hill!! It started with a rear flat. I changed the flat and in the process of getting it back on one of the magnets broke off and had to get a whole new break caliper. On top of that in the process of fixing the break issue I started having battery issues it won't go more than 4 miles even when going 8-9 mph. While I was dealing with that the break line started to unthread so I have to replace that. I've messaged gotrax a couple of times on what size break line the scooter uses and instructions on how to replace the wire and I have not heard back from them(it's been about 9 days). At this point I've spent more time fixing it than actually riding it. It has been a huge pain and honestly I couldn't recommend it. Bright side, I am learning how to fix my scooter without taking it to go get it fixed. I highly recommend getting solid tires, because fixing a flat is a huge pain in the butt!!!
100% agree on solid tires. Sorry to hear you had a bad experience
Your weight??
@@albertgein3082 200 lbs
@@allanm3797 well crap that doesn't give me much hope except I bought a gas powered uberscoot *2
A week ago and ill be gawdanged if my experience has been worse than yours even .. you don't wanna know..
And now I'm stuck with it no returns after they've Been run. F#@!#D
I WEIGH 230ISH.. TRYING TO FIND A REPLACEMENT until I can sell/ or fix this
Craphole moneypit
@@albertgein3082 gotrax gave me an option to send it back and I was going to, until I I decided that buying a new scooter would be less painful. I upgraded to a nanrobot D6 plus and I couldn't be happier. It's all terrain, goes 40 mph, and has a max weight of 330 lbs. I ended just throwing the gotrax away. Too much headache dealing with it.

You've. Been to the factory???
@@albertgein3082 no I've never been to china. They don't have a factory in america. They don't do any repairs or assembly. Yet blast usa all over.
@@AMoneyVideo you bought a scooter and tested it for at least a few months?
@@7KingCobra7 yea still have one of the two I ordered. One of the two was sent to me with a busted/ not correctly assembled motor wheel bearing. Was sticking out sideways and while it did function there was mad friction. This is how I discovered they do no assembly or repairs and are purely ordering fully assembled units from China and shipping them out of their texas warehouse.
@@AMoneyVideowait. even apple iphones made it china😂 what are you blabbering about
You ever figure out the electronic breaking?
Did you climb the hill in first or second gear? They recommend using first for max torque
Second gear and good call
I guess you noticed the motor noise when struggling uphill? Did you happen to notice a similar noise when you first start accelerating then it goes away once speed is up
Yeah and funny enough my e-twow does the same thing
Did you reach out to Gotrax about a partnership?
Good review, seems like an overall good scooter but those air filled tires just makes me so nervous about getting a flat tire. Any issues with the air filled tires as of yet?
no not yet 0 priblem for the scuter the only problem i get is weth too many people wanting to rent them out
you can replace the tires with honeycombs
I am very much interested to buy one the cheapest rate
The electronic brake is in the brake lever.
I have the gel v2 and my brake wire broke and when I press the brakes it still stops the motor just not as good as the wired brake
As small as those wheels are, I'd be concerned about rough spots. How does it handle a bump, or dip?
The wheel size is the same as other scooters in its class but yeah (including Bird and Lime scooters if you've ridden those), that is a bit of an issue with the form factor. I hit some small curbs (1-2 inches high) no problem but definitely avoid craters in the road!
Squeezing the brake lever engages the disc brake (back wheel) AND electronic brake (front wheel). The electronic brake is regenerative.
Yup I found that out after the video posted
Do you have to change to second gear every time you turn the scooter on?
Yup, kinda weak that it doesn't save the setting
Whats the difference between setting 1 and setting 2??
Gears? Power modes? Quick to set? My M365 was so aggressive in acceleration it made me tired like an old man. Eco mode was horrible slow to swap between in a busy city.
Modest acceelration. 2 gears (very quick to set just hold down power button for about 1 second). Gear 1 is ~10 mph and gear 2 is 15.5 mph
@@UnqualifiedCritics Can the scooter be used manually in the event you ran out of power?
@@jasonle9596 Yeah it doesn't lock the wheels
@@UnqualifiedCritics Ok thank you, I've been thinking of buying this scooter, and having the ability to use electric or manual is certainly useful for me
It’s not the same motor... why make a review on guesses ?
a
What is the regenerative breaking aspect? Meaning when you break, it charges the battery?
Yeah exactly
ok so It the same scooter people tiny upgrade but over all junk the wires between the battery and motor melt and melt to the battery at least once a year so get ready but I can say customer service is great but gotrax scooters are JUNK not worth it trust me save up a lil more it will be worth the time
Avri West what are your thoughts on a Glion dolly?
You can't even string a sentence together, I wouldn't trust your opinion on a mechanical device lmfao.
Now that you've had the scooter for a while. How is it holding up? Any problems/issues?
No issues but I only put a few hundred miles on it before giving it to my friend. As far as I know, he hasn't had an issues either
