Awesome video as always Bill and Deb. While y’all were at expo east did y’all run into Timmy from truck house life?

Bill, you're going to need a boat oar to stir that big ol pot. Haha!! This is awesome 😂😂😂

We were there for 3 days but we had a geriatric dog and he couldn’t walk much so we didn’t get to see everything.

It kindve sucked this year compared to the last few years, they really cut back on the niceties this year and the raffle prizes were CHEAP this year.

Thank you for responding, next time put that disclaimer in the beginning of your video so that your fans know you have done what you can do to help, as I have myself. Should have been a disclaimer in the beginning.

I am a big fan of this channel I have t-shirts even!! buttttt, you guys are how far from the Carolina’s? And why wouldn’t this event not be postponed or at least take all that chili to people who need it? Seems a little cold and only concerned about putting out this channel. How about taking all your sponsors to the affected areas and doing something? Not going to continue watching this episode.

We are sorry that you feel this way. Being emergency services professionals, we understand the importance of of NOT self deployment to a disaster. As a matter of fact, the Air Medical Service that Bill works for has 15 aircraft in that area and another 20 in Florida. Bill is on the list for the next deployment. We would much rather be there helping as we both have volunteered the majority of our lives to search and rescue. But just going to the area without a formal request more often just causes congestion and confusion There are other ways to help such as donations to formal outlets that are more beneficial than getting down there and being in the way
We certainly understand your position on postponing this event due to the circumstances but that was the decision of the Overland Expo.

Very well explained. I am retired Fire Rescue 28 years as well 10 years of Ocean Rescue. I elected to bypass this years event due to all the circumstances surrounding the area. I felt 1 van driving through and using resources that were needed for the residents and rescue crews was more important than the $ I invested for tickets.
In emergency services we are tought that there has to be a plan for a mass casualty event. What happend to all the areas of Appalachia from Helene was and still is a huge monumental event made extreamly difficult because of size, terrain, damage and destruction. To have thousands of indavidual groups doing theirown things, no matter how well trained and well intentioned, in the long run will bog the system down and potentially cause more harm than good.
Thank you for your service. Please be careful and stay safe when you get deployed.@CoddiwompleOverland
