Building for 46 years. Just learned "marking the pushrod at the center of the servo shaft"! Thanks Martin
Martin. I always add a washer under the nut so that if the ball joint slips off it can not completely come off the servo arm !
I do the same but......I have never had a linkage come off ever.
Hi Martin ,
I would really recommend putting washers on both sides of the ball , of the ball link.
Seen loads pop off in flight , then that really expensive crunchy crashy noise !!
Cheers for another great vid
Phil
I am so surprised that his videos don’t get more views.
May the UA-cam gods hear you 😄

Hi Martin Pickering, like always quality easy, and very informative content.
May I ask you something?
Can you pls tell us what device you use for CG,(I hope you don't use the finger method)
Thank you
Angel
I've a question - how quick are these jets to respond to throttle input?
Good question and not an easy answer!
From anything above idle it is almost instant for small increases. Large increases are also quick to respond. Low idle range is the slowest segment, with idle to full still taking a second or two…
Tacky wax for non magnetic screws.😊
If you're having trouble installing screws that aren't magnetic and they keep dropping off, use a little bit of grease. That way the screw will stick to the driver and not fall off.
Long live tacky wax😊
hello do you think it could be practichal to fill um an airplane wing with helium to reduce wight? or maby an hybrid between an airplan and a zepelin xD
It has been done, however anything short of a full on ballon does not see much difference as the helium is only “slightly” lighter than air, so filling the relatively small wings makes very little difference
kk ok =) the for your nice answer@@MartinPickering-PickeringRC
