hahaha what a great story to tell. Dont give up is the spirit of this hobby. Very great job.
Amazing!
And by the way, your explanation video has more views in 5 days than original commercial itself in 5 months, you deserve more $
Holy crap! Great job persevering through that nightmare.
That’s a epic story. I am so happy you made it happen. If anyone could fly that plane in such a small space, it would be your skills. I will have a look at the advert. Great job 🫡
Safe to say now that all is well that ends well !
But that was an extraordinary amount of hardwork, skill and perseverance , add to it some luck that got you there.
Truly a showcase to the world of the capabilities of RC Flights and flyers.
Loved this video and the commercial a lot !
Great to see the success of your seemingly insurmountable challenge! Way to go sticking with it to the end. Any challenge is attainable if you put your mind and skills to the test. Congratulations!!!!!!
Great story, Martin and congratulations for sticking with the task.
I think folks just can’t understand how stressful flight test can be and the emotional hemorrhage after days of struggle when you finally succeed!
Been there… Done That!
Great Job!
Hat off! Congratulation, amazing story! And thanks you for sharing it with us!
I was on the edge of my seat! as you told the story !!!!!!!!! Well done Martin and co ! People who build indoor airliners spend years perfecting them ! you had weeks !!!! Brilliant !
This is called persistence and professionalism my friend, congratulations.
Wonderful Job Martin and Carlos!!! Wow!! Awesome story!! Love your passion for the hobby!!! Congratulations!! 🎉🎉
Riveting story. So glad you hung in there in the face of (almost) insurmountable problems. I hope telling the story, and seeing how beautiful the commercial came out, was enough to ease some of the pain!
Crazy Storie, very interested! Congratulation 👍
Amazing story!
It takes courage to tell a story like this... big kudos on that!
I know my fair share about it... going to an international competition with a yet untested model which then didn't even want to even take off... and then spend the whole competition (which lasted 3 days) just trying to get it to working condition. By the end of it, on our latest chance, we actually managed to make the thing fly, and what a beautiful flight it was!
Ofc, at that point we didn't stand a chance at winning anything other than our adversaries recognition, but we did get one of the loudest and warmest rounds of applause for our unyielding determination to keep going until the last moment. :')
Great story Martin. Congratulations. Keep flying high my friend.
❤❤❤nice work👍👍👍
brilliant
A truly awesome story Martin. I can't wait to hear this story in person with you and Carlos. 😂
What a challenge! what an adventure! Congratulations!
What a great story.
extreme aeromodelling! who ever said it was supposed to be relaxing!
That story almost made me cry and I'm a grown ass man 😭
Great job!
Geez bro yeah, that was a problem and a half lol 👀, I myself was overjoyed and surprised to see the second one kinda fly for a few laps and saving the day... damn 🤣👍
Excellent, lots of those indoor jets are in effect helium balloons.
Bonita historia Martin, espero que al final mereciera la pena y que todo ese esfuerzo se viera recompensado. Un saludo desde Málaga¡¡
Cool
What a miraculous happy end of the worst nightmare I have ever heard of! Martin, I was cringing inside whenever you talked about the next failure and disappointment. You are for sure a good storyteller! As an actor I know the silence before the "action" is heard and I know what the view of all those crew people around can do to you even if you are perfectly prepared. I definitely did not want to be in your skin after the first, stronger model was in pieces. I feel what you and your frined must have gone through! So good that it worked in the end!
Damn dude!! Your perseverance is admirable!! You deserve a caña on me!
Sounds like Carlos got roped into some shenanigans he really wasn't interested in..
To top it off people wanting the impossible. I could only imagine
Do that every day and you'd be called an IT Professional...
Next time, add a helium gas envelope in the fuselage tube. Couple small balloons.
Yeah one more hassle that can go wrong.
If the planes were ready on time I agree with you. But KISS (keep it simple, stupid).
OMG I got a panic attack listening to your story.😅 well done !!!
This was a great story. I could definitely feel your exhausting anxiety.
This is what happens when one turns a hobby into a job. But great it all worked out in the end!😀
i got stressed out just watching this lol. ( i use to work in film/vfx production ) . made for a great story though.
Looking for the link to the commercial....
there are some incredible german rc pilots who have insanly big and light weight airliners. if you need it, i can get you in contact with them. greetings felix
Would have been amazing help before the shoot for sure! Tried reaching out to one of them but couldnt make contact at that time…
@@MartinPickering-PickeringRC if you need in future, I can get in touch with them very fast, friends of mine. 😎
Well done , carletos is always cover us
My tears of joy may take a moment to clear...
Okay, I can't help but wonder if dragging them around with a drone wasn't an option since flying them was virtually out of the question.
Ive been unlucky enough to work through projects like these with impatient people that wouldnt listen. Its not a fun position to be in
next time get a green screen and digitalize a proper model. easier and probably cheaper.
Project could be named “unfortunately” … knowing your skills and passion it must have been really-really difficult but you flew this horrible sounding thing anyway. Good job!
Are your narrations scripted out to which you are reading off a Q card or something? Your videos are always great to watch, and fun to see the story your presenting. However, if you just talked naturally and told the story freestyle per say.... It would feel alot more genuine and natural. Thats my opinion, even though you didnt ask for it.
It's his style. Talking slowly and clearly. Not in his native tongue either, that takes a toll on the "relaxed and natural" feel of speech too.
@@TobbeArnesson Wait what? Martin is surely an english native (expat I think). If not I am extremely impressed with the accent.
@@snviper He lives in Spain and has been the Spanish champion four times. So I believe he's born and raised in Spain, but I don't know for sure.
@@TobbeArnesson I know but he has a particular regional english accent. I have lived in the UK for a year.
Do you know @ramyrc ? He is the king of airliners….
Yes, he actually offered me one of his Airbus for the shoot, really great guy!
