NS SD60I Leads WB Grain at US 31 Near Tipton, IN - 4/26/12

In a scene that really couldn't happen anymore today, my mom and I were on our way into Tipton the morning of 4/26/12, as I was finishing up my junior year of high school. We got stopped by this westbound grain.
Signals were Safetran cantilevers installed during the '90s, both sides equipped with Safetran mechanical bells. Today, this has been converted into an overpass, and 31 passes above the Frankfort District on a bridge. Project was completed in the past couple years. NS 6749 was eventually sold to Progress Rail, and according to RRPictureArchives, has been scrapped.
