try to think like the whole internet is a big reset and we re living in probably third fallout state but we re thinking is just could be the one after 40years some like a adventure time thing is the bio computers discovered some in egypt or the analog computer who knows we re in some past cuz brain need ipulses and every impulses need. a couple of mili seconds to reach a distance from brain to hand from brain to legs etc so if we re could die we would live couple ms after death is crazy 😅
The scarier thing is that this is not getting better. its a floodgate thats been open, eventually it will be hard to find non botted content or even people on most places of the internet.
Stuff like this is contributing to the resurgence of single-player games. The well of online pvp has been poisoned to such an extent these days that you're always left doubting whether your opponent is cheating or not, when back in the day it was extremely rare.
Behind every bot is people wanting to get ahead without effort. So long as people's desire for product/results is greater than their willingness to put in the effort for it, bots will continue. It takes a systematic change in how game progression works and how games reward players in order to combat bots. People use bots to either grind for loot (see tf2 cases/item drops), for rank to flex (see scripts), or to level an account without input (see league's lvl 30 requirement for ranked in league). The tricky part is that trying to solve one of these avenues tends to have unintended consequences to the others. If you lower the need to level accounts, you'll get more scripts because accounts are more disposable. If ranking is easier and thus matters less, people will focus on the loot that accounts have and can acquire, and if you mess with loot tables you'll incentivize people to reroll accounts for better starting loot. Gaming has developed in a way that a majority of motivation is extrinsic. Players want someTHING. Developers cant force players to be intrinsically motivated to play hours upon hours perfecting their own skill for the sake of feeling good about themselves, but they sure as hell can dangle a carrot on a stick, and lead players with it. Or so they think. Then bots shorten the stick. Players not being intrinsically motivated enough has brought us to where we are now in the botting landscape. So basically, because of how games evolved to what they are today, its fucked.
I want to argue that improved tutorials or tools for drilling skills would help a lot. This requires devs to have a deep understanding of the league skillset. So, probably as wishful thinking as “systematic change”…
How are they going to profit over this? Intentionally bombing the game with smurf accounts until the player %s for every rank becomes totally unpredictable and league ranks, which are what's keeping this game alive, become pointless? Or turning account selling allowed so anyone could sell accounts actually cheaper than Riot, *meanwhile* still ruining the game because of what I said earlier?
Did you see the recent apex cheater that was running around with a troop of 5 bots, meaning a whole enemy team of bots and his two team mate bots, and controlling them via pings. They all had hacks and shot pro players out of the air at insane range, and the hacker player was seen swapping between the legends he controlled. Absolutely insane hacks and botting ability
We've said this from the start lol. You guys are so naive thinking anti cheat helps. Vanguard is not there to prevent cheaters, it's there as a backdoor for tencent.
They don't care about botters, they said that years ago , they want to keep them in the game but not have alot of them And finding scripter is rare af even before the kernel anti cheat
That is like saying what is the point of taking a treatment when you will still be sick. I think the botting will be worse without kernal level anticheat.
I get wanting to bypass account requirements that one thinks are overly restrictive in LoL, but I wish the video would've gone more into depth on why TF2's botting crisis is so bad, as I don't think there's any such requirement for that game
TF2 dripfeeds weapons and lootboxes over time. Weapons can be broken down into scrap, which is NEARLY worthless, but with enough bots, money can be made on the in-game market
@@amiablereaperNot in-game. Steam market. You can have an account that has 1k worth of real money for games available and sell it for less than that. That's the jist.
@@amiablereaper I guess I could see that, even if it sounds far slower than what's in the video. What I still don't get are the 'spinbots', the often Sniper bots that will constantly wallhack and aimbot everyone on the server and have just supposedly ruined public games for years with no fixes. What's wrong with just walking around and bumping into walls to accumulate, do you win more weapons from racking up more kills?
We need someone to go after the buyers on a federal level lol. Give them huge fines and jail time, they'll eventually stop because they cant afford it/dont want jail time and those who keep doing it just give free money to their government or spiral to poverty XD
I wish they had them sent to prison too. I dont care if this is your only source of income in a ditch dirt 3rd world country. you've the got the facilities to cheat your way into millions of dollars from the comfort of your home abusing other companies. it's straight up immoral.
The devs are also the ones behind the bottings and scriptings, that's why when people give legitimate screenshots of people botting or scripting, those accounts have been able to play whatsoever. All online games do this because the devs don't get enough money or so they say. Long story short, it's a tradition at this point that further makes every playerbase more toxic.
Let me tell you something. No one cares about botted accounts. Riot should focus on nerfing mages, and tanks and they should focus on banning inters who queue ranked to troll or anything. Botted accounts do not matter as much as inters in the game. Riot is making 'Vanguard' into league because of "cheaters" but they should just ban inters, no?

Yes botting is wrong, but because of botting, players are less likely to quit. If the botted level 30 account market doesn't exist, I wonder how many people would still be playing this game and how financially healthy Riot Games would still be... believe me, the botted account market is bigger than you think and is actually better for the playerbase and for Riot Games than we actually believe.

Funny how this video's about bots and over half of the first 7 comments are made by bots.
Dead internet theory continues to shine through.
Nice try mister bot 👀ツ

Welcome to the internet
The scarier thing is that this is not getting better.
its a floodgate thats been open, eventually it will be hard to find non botted content or even people on most places of the internet.
Plot Twist: The bot sellers are actually Riot themselves and this is how they make money for music videos and 250 million dollars for Arcane.

This is what laws are for.
Shit is getting so out of hand that peripheral makers are including cheats/scripts in their fucking hardware (see MSI)

I recently played with a Yuumi bot on ARAM, still haven't got a feedback update... So much about Vanguard, blocking those
you sure it was a bot? cuz you know… that’s just how yuumi players are
the 3D blender visuals in this go hard bro!
dont tell big rito,
but if big rito just starts selling lvl 30 accounts from their website, so no client, it'd make them big bucks

Really makes you wonder what the point of kernel level anticheat is when the botters and scripters are still bypassing it like they always have.
The same reason why Blizzard introduced the WoW token. The goal isn’t to destroy the black market, it’s to get their cut
Yeah all it does is ban anyone who doesn't want malware on their computer

Or just use Mac OS cuz it has no vanguard
what is the github repo link?
can't wait for stuff like what basically homeless is working on to be spread across all games i viscerally hate bots
Botted accounts inflate League player count so RIot will be happy to have millions of botted accs, they still go to smurfs so who cares ?
hi
be mean go afk every game play with bots against bots is barely visible😂
here before this blows up
