Fuck it, I'm balling with Doran. I'm going to believe on him. He took the deal at the last minute which really saved T1 from being topless. I'm sure the pressure is immense for him. I hope Faker and the entire T1 coaching staffs can bring out his potential and to lessen his mental booms. The sixth ring is for Doran. Let's go DOGFK
People are talking about Zeus but what about Kiin? They took a deal quickly so T1 can't use him as a backup, potentially fucking any chance he had of securing a better deal. They used him as a sacrifice to bulk up their earnings on Zeus' side. Mad props to Doran who had to deal with the initial wave of backlash before all of this came to light, by the way. The lad gave up on his LPL day dreams immediately to sign with T1, knowing fully that he will be Mr. Scapegoat as the only new member of a back-to-back-to-back World finalists team.
Yeah that's why this controversy start in the first place the agency allegedly purposely signed kiin so there's no much FA top available anymore and they manipulated information to both side if I'm not wrong so this mess happen
it's actually crazy how they kind of in a way fucked over two top LCK toplaners. Kiin could've leveraged the fact that T1, HLE, GENG would be aiming for him if Zeus was signing with either of the three.
@@bulbasaurthegreat I get it, and the prestige is unbelievable, and he's also a Faker fanboy. But if I were in his position, I'd think about it too. The fans can be terrifying and the fact that he's the only new member of the legendary roster, he'd be the immediate person people will point out at times where they fail. The DDOS-ing issue has also apparently still been going on as recent as Guma's Worlds recap. I just hate the idea of being seen as the only thing that's "different" when they don't end up meeting the usual T1 expectations (aka Worlds semis).
@@DiegoSanstwen If what i hear about pro's is true, he knew all that, and it made him want to sign the contract even more, because he is 100% confident that despite all these challenges, he will do well and become the new Toplaner face of T1 and stick with the org for years to come atleast thats what i imagine is running through his head, which is mad respectable lol
This is how i know T1 is pissed as hell. 1. The farewell messege was very simple and short, shorter than Kanna who also had problems when leaving T1 2. They deleted every trace of Zeus and took a photoshopped picture of Doran's face on top of Keria's body to replace Zeus all in the span of 7 minutes 3. The T1 pc cafe took down Zeus name and deleted the Zeus drink
The deletion of Zeus stuff is just mandatory because of some clauses when a player is not in contract anymore. Basically they can't use Zeus' branding to produce money. It's not because they were angry at him, what they have a problem is the agency.
@slippy47 The difference is how fast they did this. You have to remember most of the time, it takes time for teams to remove the other players from website, socials, physical places, and everything else.

All I know is Zeus's agency fucked over Kiin in a way Doran and Zeus' signing. Kiin was forced to sign early to Gen.G to manipulate the market into forcing T1 to give them a higher contract for Zeus, Kiin has the same agency as Zeus so yeah, They used Kiin as a leverage and he got screwed over for taking a smaller pay with no negotiation on his contract. Kiin was supposed to be the other option but again he was forced to sign early with gen.g and Zeus together with his Agent majorly fucked T1. It almost legitimately looked like T1 will have to field a random ass player for toplane. I won't say Zeus was the mastermind but I won't say the guy is innocent in all of this.
Agent has more power than you have thought. This is Korea. From what I see in like Kpop scandal. It would be naive to think Zeus wasn't get a big talk from Agent who don't care about their player future they just want more money.

FKGOD is actually such a cool acronym tho especially after what happened. But to lighten up y'all mood. Doran isn't a stranger to Guma and Keria, Guma is familiar with Doran during their Academy years, and Doran and Keria are just content gold back in DRX. Honestly just give it a chance
After hearing this mess, I bet the real T1 fans will back this new roster to the moon and back. I hope it gives the roster renewed determination to shine even brighter than ever before.
@@LJadedI’m hoping the best for both the boys. But if it ends up a T1 HLE finals and Doran beats Zeus, the memes and legacy from that will haunt both players and org forever. Google: The Korean Civil Act does not mandate that contracts be in writing to be considered valid. Therefore, oral agreements are legally binding and enforceable, provided that they meet the fundamental elements of a contract: offer, acceptance, mutual consent, and a lawful purpose. We don't know how did they negotiate but I think by T1's stand they've definitely talked to Zeus about signing multi-year deal and he possibly answered yes, at the time.
Pretty moot point now. HLE already revelaed Zeus as their toplaner for this year. Kinda pointless to keep harping about it anymore since what's done is done, even if it had to be ugly.
@@reishiki8682 This isn't about return Zeus to T1 since Doran already signed. This is about make an example to prevent it from happen next time and if they win lawsuit, they will also get compensation for those canceling merch and events
Worth noting even thought they can be binding its still incredibly hard to prove oral agreements. People might have forgot but ruler broke a verbal agreement to KT before he went to JDG.
tbh I hope that Doran steps up to the plate. Some people are acting as if he isn't a good toplaner, but that really isn't true. I think it would be poetic in a weird way for DOFGK to become something even stronger as a big screw you to those who made everything go down this way.

Apparently, Zeus' contract has ended. But the thing is, even if you got a top offer from different teams other than T1, Zeus can still make up his decision in 24 hours after his contract has ended. But instead he just let someone pick him up when T1 addressed that they are willing to keep the ZOFGK roster with any offers they wanted but unfortunately they were late 20 minutes before taking Zeus. But regardless of the situation I put this on Zeus. He could've waited but he didn't. Imagine winning Worlds back-to-back with the same roster and you even considered about leaving T1. *xd!* Zeus truly hit his head with that trophy.
I really think Zeus hasn't realized the impact of his decision. If it's money he's after, staying at T1 would eventually be a better net income. With the ZOFGK branding in full throttle he could've asked for better incentives. Same as what T1 did for Guma since he retained his salary because he said he "underperformed" last season. they put clauses on his contract for incentives (from what I've read and this is kind of obvious with his contract)
It is definitely not only money. Zeus went to a better team. Also it's easier to get money from a team that doesn't have to pay Faker, whose salary is rumored to be more than geng's entire roster.

What if the meta at worlds 2025 doesn't align with their style anymore? What if one of them suffers an injury, or just inexplicably plays badly? Branding can only take you so far, you still have to back it up with performance at the end of the day, and it's never going to be guaranteed. Zeus have already made statements before about the "what ifs" of working abroad and playing for a foreign team (T1 Vlogs) and he always broughts up the topic of jumping ship and money (T1 Vlogs and Knowing Bros). Out of all of them, he's the only person who made implications of leaving T1 for money. As much as the majority want to inhale compium, Zeus is complicit in all of these. It's very contradictory that you had a verbal agreement to re-sign but you can't wait for 20 minutes knowing that the staff is literally coming to your house because you can't be contacted? This kind of stunt, disloyalty, betrayal, and lack of moral values cannot be easily forgiven in an Asian culture. This was expected but still disappointing because not only he did royaly fuck T1s marketing endeavors, but it was also a huge disrespect to his hyungs. The T1 nurtured and fostered your talent under the academy. Trusted you when they brought him up in the main roster and now this... The only one that should he commended here is Doran. I'm not that familiar with him but the guy immediately signed to T1 even though he knows that he's probably just the PLAN D at this point. Uncertainty and panick is a grandpsychological weapon.
If this is all true then nobody's really a victim here except for the other 5 players in T1, specially Doran. The agency sounds shady asf, T1 got screwed over but also screwed themselves, and Zeus got the HLE bag in a way that doesn't make him look good at all. This was so sudden that the others were most likely informed the same time as us (based on Oner's live just hours before this and the zeus shorts video). Why can’t T1 top laners leave quietly and peacefully? First Can-NA and now Zeus gotta leave a stink in their wake, whether it’s them or their agency or both.
An agency should represent the player, with the player having full control over the final decision. Zeus was either manipulated into signing the contract as the window his agent has set expired and was panicking, or he orchastrated this whole thing along side him to get as much money as possible.
Because its not their fault but the agency trying to sell the player at best price so they get the best cut... Canna also got fucked by agency Look at Marin, he was considered the best top laner in 2015 in the most dominant team ever created yet no drama whatsoever when he left immediately after winning
Zeus wanted money and let a greedy agency dictate everything, allowing them to strong-arm, cheat, and disregard his 4 year home team. It's fine to leave, but either give the team time to negotiate with another top-level top laner or at least TALK to your team who has been patient with you for the entire contract season, letting you get "market evaluated", after which they closely matched the competition's offers. Zeus and his agency stalled as long as they can, then refused to talk when T1 finally had no other options.
@jiwoos19 Zeus himself probably has very little control over the negotiations. He tells his agent what he wants, and then like most celebrities/stars, he probably only gets updates from his agent and does whatever the agents says is best. A lot of contracts actually forbid organizations/companies/teams from speaking directly to the client as it can be viewed as a breach of free agency.
A grey area in law is a situation where the exact rules are not really laid out fully. So waiting for Kiin to resign to get more money when Kiin is also with an agent under the same agency would be a legal grey zone. It is not Illegal, but it is also not good practice. The lack of definition in the rules riot laid out would make it a legal grey zone. This would also explain the comment in which they said that T1 is looking everywhere and contacting everyone to see if they can come up with something law wise. They probably have lawyers looking through riot rules but also korean law for this.
I'd reckon that, if proven that Kiin re-signed so this situation could exist, it would count as insider trading. Which is illegal in most countries, although I don't know anything about SK law. It's for sure grey, but it does smell fishy.
riot rules aren't the core issue..it's a Korean law dispute most likely: bad faith negotiation...conflict of interest...if they truly did make Kiin sign earlier to leverage Zeus thats illegal: why? because they didn't represent Kiin's best interest, instead leveraging him to make money for another player, the bad faith pertains to T1: verbal agreements have somewhat binding character under law, ghosting an org to entertain other offers after reaching a verbal agreement and not giving a decent chance to counter based on time constraints you yourself created potentially shows bad faith (which is also illegal)...the fact that you represented both Zeus and Kiin and might have conflicting interests, reached verbal agreement, then purposefully created time pressure, didn't give a chance to counter AND signed a 1+1 contract after specifying the issue lay in contract duration even though the same duration was offered by the verbally agreed-upon party are all patterns hinting at bad faith behaviour and misrepresentation ultimately T1 will have to prove collusion between Zeus and Kiin's agents for either case to hold water though
@@johnkirk1772 I read somewhere that verbal agreements are legally enforceable in SK. So the agencies are most likely looking at breach of contract, possibly insider trading, possibly unjust enrichment.

Apparently if T1 takes this matter into lawsuit and makes formal complain to LCK then Zeus will not be able to play for 6 months of the season, which can result of cancellation in army exemption where he got his exemption from Asian games gold medal.
Take a look at it from the positive side, it’s the 5th straight year of OFGK being together (2021,2022,2023,2024,2025) and most likely 6 years, since Keria and Oner have contracts until 2026, Faker and Gumayusi are very likely to re-sign
If im not misremembering, Guma signed for another year so that he can match his contract expiration date with fakers which also ends in 2025 meanwhile Oner and Keria end in 2026. He made this decision in the case that if Keria and Oner decide to leave T1, he will still be on the team with Faker meaning T1 will have 2 world champions and still be a world class team and have better leverage when selecting new players.
I can't see it on the positive way when it ended in such a messy way. All those good memories in the past 4 years for me has been tainted. Honestly, I keep wondering if the opinions of the parents or the agency might have been bigger than the opinions of the 21-year-old player. Otherwise, zeus had no intention of renewing his contract from the beginning, had no affection for the team, and just damaged T1 by measuring his salary. T2's "DAL" player is also out of contract, so if Doran hadn't waited, it could have been a really messy year.... (Using a Translator)
Doran will be a big slapp to any teams either from Kiin and Zeus management IF they Win Worlds. IF T1 loses, they have all the excuses and Zeus will be in the middle of it. Fighting T1
Zeus verbally agreed to T1's offer, his agents told him he could've gotten more money, then Zeus decided to go this route for more money. If Zeus truly wanted to stay with T1, nobody can force him to do otherwise.
Definitely. Had Doran signed already, We'd be seeing T1 DnDn or T1 Rascal. Who is Doran? For the blind, He is the vision. For the hungry, He is the chef. For the thirsty, He is the water. If Doran thinks, I agree. If Doran speaks, I’m listening. If Doran has one fan, it is me. If Doran has no fans, I don’t exist.
with the ZOFGK branding with merch and what said that T1 is willing to pay good amount to keep Zeus, wouldn't staying in T1 be better long run for zeus?
@@RedKidGamingTrue rat mentality lol but fr its only now that we realise how ZOFGK is woven into T1's identity. The longest running Tier 1 roster in league history with the core being together for nearly 4 years(Zeus is 3 years). Contracts are something that could never be controlled but we'll see whether this is a bright spark or a dimming light for T1.
Doran has the chance to do the funniest thing by changing his ign to Zoran. Imagine he does that to save the ZOFGK brand, then pops off in LCK and somehow Worlds to get T1 a three-peat. That would be absolute cinema on par with the Arcane.
I don't really like the narrative where Zeus doesn't have any fault in this. For how much Zeus' agency played T1 in the gray area. I truly believe Zeus knew. From everything I've read and the history between Zeus' and T1. It's so hard to imagine how there's no bad faith involved. If you look at the consequences and what Zeus got at the end with his contract with HLE. T1 matched everything with their three options presented to Zeus. An hour ago while writing this, It was revealed he only signed a 1 + 1 year contract with HLE. And In exchange burning all bridges with T1. It absolutely baffles me why they made a roundabout if they are not staying anyways. I will cheer on Doran on how much a champ he is. The negotiation between him and T1 apparently only lasted around 6 hours~ upon learning on Zeus' not continuing with T1. I think the theme is already written for the next year's story. It's going to be T1 vs HLE.
I don't think you actually listened to the story properly. T1 did not match the offer. They matched it with 500k less AFTER Zeus ALREADY signed to HLE. Before that they only offered a slight salary increase which is a bit embarrassing.
@@hyui5096i don't think you watched the video. The 500k salary difference is from the initial offer from T1. T1 negotiated and nearly matched HLE offer but the agency kept refusing to negotiate. Regardless, 500k is miniscule in comparison with the sponsorship, merch and the new worlds skin.
@@oji4411 No you got that wrong. You can simply rewatch the video or google it instead of guessing. The 500k difference was AFTER Zeus has already signed as T1 was late. Before T1 only offered a slight salary increase and then Zeus's agent said we are not negotiating until we talked with the other teams. Then His agent organized a time to negotiate but T1 missed it by a hour which during that time Zeus signed with HLE. Go fact check me if you want.
Doran has the skillset and is more than enough to fill zeus shoes, he just needs to fix his inconsistency issues and he can no doubt be the best toplaner in the world, being in T1 for sure will help him ALOT
Canna was dropped by T1 tho, MaRin only had 2015 in his career, that man played really bad after that year. Khan, on the other hand, was one of the players T1 wanted to keep for 2020, but he prioritized (FPX).
@@PlayNowrandlock3 T1 dropped Canna after Canna and his agency made a mess (although it turned out that Canna was tricked by his agency and misunderstood the whole situation). It was basically a ''fk off if you are gonna play like this'' from T1.
Forget about him. All I care is whether Doran is Duke 2.0, Khan 2.0 or Huni 2.0 Edit: No offence to Huni and I think he played very decent that year, but I think he got burnt out by the training and stress by the end of the year.
There are 2 possibilities that led to this decision in my opinion. 1.: Zeus is a naive human being and was being puppeteered and manipulated into signing a contract. This makes sense because the agent could've told him that T1 is not as serious at signing him as HLE was and as T1's latest offer came later than what Zeus was told about the deadline, he panicked and signed to HLE quickly. 2.: Zeus's intention was always to leave, and he orchastrated this whole scenario alongside his agent, trying to get as much money as possible out of the situation. This can also be true, since Zeus declined T1's initial offer vbecause the contract length was too short (1+1), but has signed the same contract length deal with HLE (also a 1+1 deal) negating his reasoning for declining T1.
I think you missed something. Zeus didn't want a 1+ 1 year contract but was denied. HLE offered the same but with WAY MORE MONEY. then T1 only offered a similar offer AFTER HE HAS ALREADY SIGNED. so the 2 offers was not comparable. Zeus's Agency could have waited a bit more to be fair but to suggest that there 2 are the only option is crazy. Why would a agency or a play just randomly want to leave T1 for no reason. They obviously thought that HLE's offer was going to be the highest by far.
@@hyui5096 You literally agreed to my first point. He was manipulated into agreeing to the HLE offer without waiting out T1's counter offer that he declined initially, and then thinking that the "deadline" Zeus's agent has set for T1 expired. They were 40 minutes late to a ridiculous "deadline" an agent has set, not even a deadline by a regulatory body but just a random bloke. Also I said that it's my opinion, and that opinion was based on my first hand experience dealing with agents, and having agents, and dealing with such incidents in my semi pro football career.
@@kizer0161 I never agreed to your first comment and your facts are all over the place. First of all T1 was a hour late not 40 mins. Not much of a difference but just would like to point out that you got that wrong. Second of all, the deadline that Zeus's agent set out did expire. Could they have tried harder? Yes. But That doesn't mean Zeus was manipulated. They got a good offer and they took it. T1 didn't give a counteroffer by the deadline and they got a offer that they couldn't refuse. And T1 did end up coming back with a lower offer in the end but at least was close to HLE's offer but that was to late. Nowhere in that sequence was Zeus "manipulated". HE could have been but you suggests that was the likely and only possibility unless he wanted to leave from the beginning. And your anecdote means nothing in this scenario. Just because you feel like you got manipulated, doesn't mean that other people did as well especially since you know nothing about the situation to begin with. Just because i got robbed by an asain, doesn't mean all asains are thieves. So no i don't agree with your original point unless you are moving your goalpost. Edit : the grey area here is obviously the collusion but you instead think young people = being manipulated. You are obviously just projecting.
@@hyui5096 You could never be more wrong. The offer was received at around 3:40pm and the "deadline" that the agent used as a tool for a higher salary for the negotiation was for 3pm. I'll say it again, he either wanted to leave, or was pressured into accepting the HLE offer, which benefitted the agent a lot more than the T1 offer (more money for them).
@@kizer0161 Wrong. You are the type of people who blindly believe in your owns lies without even double checking. He signed the HLE contract at 3.40. T1 gave him the offer at 4.00 20 mins after he has signed to HLE. I'll say it again. You are clearly just projecting. The HLE was not alot of money for them. It was only 400k. The agent simply thought T1 wasn't going to give anything close. Again those are not the only 2 options. The fact that you think that those 2 are the only possibilities makes it obvious that you are projecting your own experiences onto other people. Its just cringe. Admit you got something wrong and then we can talk. Just rewatch to video to see when T1 sent the offer.
TMI) Zeus and Kiin’s agency is owned by Kiin’s sister. There are bunch of Korean baseball players are also working with this agency. Some of them went to MLB (Kim hyun-soo went to Baltimore) But seems like they are pretty infamous to korean baseball fans lol
@@Jay-zy1kc from what ive seen Kiin wants to leave GenG but Chovy wants him to stay and T1 wants to sign Kiin if Zeus leaves but Zeus and Kiin's agent is the same company so they conspire so that T1 wont get any of them
It is not. Do you know what conflict of interest means? It is 2 different independent people from 2 different agencies. They share the same parent company which is super common. Yes there may be collusion but that is different from conflict of interest. That is 2 completely different things. It is like saying Braun and Gillete have a conflict of interest because they are owned by the same parent conpany. It makes Zero sense. They are managed independently buy 2 different agency and are both sellers. An example of conlict of interest is like if you are Zeus's agent and also the CEO of T1.
@@hyui5096 A conflict of interest is having two different interests that don't align. In this case, it is the interest of the clients and the monetary interests of the agency which don't align: the agency throws one player under the bus to light the fire under the negotiations for a different player.
@@SpiceCh That is not how conflict of interest works. No1, They ARE NOT managed by the same agency. I have pointed his out last comment but you chose to ignore it. They are different independent agency owned by the same parent company therefore you cannot have conflict of interest when they are independent. And number 2 even if they are the same agency (when they are not) It is still not conflict of interest because each agent is independent. Please research on what is considered conflict of interest before lecturing me about it. In this situation the only grey area is collusion. There is no way to be a conflict of interest because they are independent. And if they are not then that is collusion. They don't have the same responsibilities so does not have a "conflict of interest". Obviously if there is collusion then behind the player's back then there can be a argument for the conflict of interest of Kiin's agent but that is only possible with collusion. There is no conflict of interest by default without relying on collusion.
@@hyui5096 "owned by the same parent company, [therefore] they are independent" "each agent is independent" Two salesmen working for the same company aren't independent. I'm sorry but from how you are talking i doubt you even have a business degree so i don't know why you even think you are more qualified then other people. As i said for example Braun and Gillete the 2 biggest men's shaving company are owned by the same company. There isn't a conflict of interest there. So are real estate agents selling different properties in the same area. You are clearly clueless about business and are just talking nonsense. Yes it is legit the law that 2 agents for any sports athlete needs to be independent from one another or else it is illegal. Or else every company can only sign one play per position per sport. You clearly don't understand what you are talking about. Unless you come up with a better argument i'll just assume you are ignorant and have a ego and ignore you.
Alot of people are being blinded by the meme that zeus is innocent and dumb. People blame his agency, acting like Zeus is completely innocent. But he's not-he's a 20-year-old grown man. In the end, it was Zeus himself who had to sign that contract. T1 blacklisted him, and I can understand why. T1 helped Zeus grow from a rookie to a world-class top laner, and he didn’t even consider talking to them or his teammates at the very least. It’s disgusting behaviour
He is a gamer and most likely an introvert, it’s not hard to assume he might be super naive on everything else besides gaming and didn’t fully realize his consequence. I have seen people made this kind of mistake out of either pressure, ego or greed without realize they’re burning the bridge. People just can make mistake. But the agency is definitely a snake and super untrustworthy, they didn’t work for their client best interest, they just wanted to milk as much money for themselves.
@AzureFides Loyalty is a sensitive topic in Asian culture. Congratulations on going from being one of the most beloved top laners in the LCK to being called a betrayer. After everything T1 did for him, he and his agency turned against T1 completely. It’s like being raised by your parents and then abandoning them without a single word once you’re ready to work.
@@Cestlavie99 You say all of this without having actually any valid inside information on what really happened. Stop being chronically online. T1 blacklisted the agent, not Zeus. You also don't understand how these agencies operate, you think this is the first time a korean agency has done some shady shit inside esports? The agency gets more money if Zeus signs a bigger contract, the type of money Zeus would make on T1 wouldn't be money that the agency could benefit from. KR Esports has an astonishingly long list of history of their players being taken advantage of, OW, SC(2), League, you name it. Remember Kanavi? These fuckers (mainly KeSpa and any org with ties to it, AKA entire LoL scene in KR) are known to be completely ruthless and uncaring for these young people, so let's wait to get some actual facts down instead of basing it all on unconfirmed rumors yeah?
@@NomSauce yeah I agree with you, these people just hop on the 'betrayal' narrative solely on the unconfirmed rumors. Just wait for the statement from both sides, and then choose your side.
You also forget that word and trust is everything in business, especially in East Asia and in Korea specifically. Most of the deals my family does is through verbal agreements, which is then finalized later in writing. However, once you make that verbal agreement, there is an expectation of trust that once broken you can’t really recover from.
I don't know what that agency told Zeus for him to sign under them but man... they baited him so hard he can't even say anything. Fans will just tag him as a traitor and hate him big time all year long and there is nothing he can do about it. On the other hand, if Doran happens to fill those shoes, he will be an instant celebrity under T1's banner.
Timeline summary: 1. T1 made an initial offer but Zeus's agency replied with 'got nothing to say' 2. 10AM meeting scheduled on 19th Nov - Zeus and his agency did not show up 3. Zeus signed the deal with HLE around 1:40PM 4. Zeus's agency threw 3:00PM deadline (T1 crosschecked with HLE, and revealed that no such deadline existed) 5. T1 COO headed to Incheon to initiate direct conversation with Zeus (because Zeus's agency did not or was not willing to communicate) 6. Zeus's agency notified the breakdown of negotiation by wire around 3:40PM There were rumours of 4M offer and T1 trying to cut Zeus's wages - which turned out to be nothing close to facts - but interestingly these rumours were in favour of Zeus parting ways with T1. I do not know where these rumours originated, but I suspect that it might be spread from Zeus's agency. I suspect that the agency might have played some tricks to stop Zeus from meeting T1 personnel face-to-face. According to Joe Marsh, the agency tried to sell Zeus to LPL last year - but Zeus called Kkoma personally and told his intention to stay with T1. If it was for money, why sign the contract on Day 1? And also, why HLE did not even try to re-sign Doran from the first place? given Kiin already signed 3 year contract with Gen.G
The fact that HLE has done this in multiple off seasons now is bizarre, how is HLE the only option to take these worlds winning rosters / rosters that want to stay together? Definitely the agent / agency is being swayed or bribed.
Yea, so T1 has put out a statement pretty corroborating all that's been said. They are accusing the agent of creating this situation on purpose. The agent has 'apologized' and said that they'd put out their side of the story because there are a lot of T1's story that's either 'exaggerated' or 'not true' (says the backstabbing agent.) There hasn't been any talk of legal action, yet, nor do I think there will be; however, I do hope this agent and all ppl involved get what's coming to them.
I'm a commercial litigation lawyer who represents agents specifically in civil lawsuits. Verbal agreements absolutely have legal enforceability. Subject to the specific law of the jurisdiction (and , admittedly, I don't work in Korea), all a contract needs to be enforceable is an offer, acceptance, consideration (some promise to do or pay something), and intention to create legally binding relationship (for the most part). The difficulty with verbal contracts is that it's difficult to nail down the specific terms as the parties often have different recollections of what was said. It is for that reason that I doubt a case like this would ever see the inside of a courtroom in the usual course; however, it's worthwhile to note that the T1 management seem sufficiently enraged such that they might run it all the way to the courts.
People dont realize that the client in an agency doesn't always have say in things, so to start stating that Zeus purposely screwed over T1 is outrageous. Zeus could've been totally unaware of everything going on, with the agency being more manipulative and calculating with the steps to take. If you know sports, athletes say the same thing. They've wanted to take pay cuts and be on a team they want to play for, but the agency literally gets more money off bigger contracts. So they're obviously then going to be manipulating and planting seeds to 1. Give little to no negotiations for the team with the lower contract (in this case T1) 2. Push the clock on timings so that the player doesn't have much of a say and just has to agree to the larger contract (in this case T1 not getting there before Zeus signed). Thereby, getting a bigger pay cut out of the clients contract. People get caught up in other peoples schemes, don't immediately point fingers before all the proof is out.
People saying Zeus is the one signing the contract sure. But what if his agency told him T1 was not willing to go through with the negotiations, or that they'd try to lower the offer somehow because of merch revenue or whatever? Zeus is 20/21 he's really young and could very much be swindled into doing whatever is more profitable for the agency as well.
Yeah this is the rumors going around they manipulated the information from both sides so Zeus forced to sign the HLE contract it's so messy if it's true
@@CCLetheThat doesn’t seem reasonable at all tbh. I think T1 made it very clear that they wanted ZOFGK to the be the future and intellectually Zeus should know he is the best FA available. Besides that the verbal agreement and not receiving any calls, signing up immediately when becoming a FA, Zeus had to have known
Ok so, the detail that is, i think, the center of the issue and what made T1 that angry is that they had a verbal agreement with Zeus. Also, we can figure out that this agreement is something they also had with the 4 other players and that made them all sign new contracts and staying together. Anyway, in popular opinion, "verbal agreement" isn't something that matters much, like, a contract only has value if put on paper. But know what, just googled it : > So i guess this is why they are talking about grey law areas, and why they feel like they can sue that agent. First, he acted weirdly and didn't let them be informed of the evolution of negociations, and also ghosted them and prevented them from talking DIRECTLY with Zeus. Second, they had an agreement, and in Korea, it does have a value.
I don't really think you really understood the situation. That is not the grey area. Yes in korea, a verbal contract can still hold weight but only when everything is agreed. They did not agree on the contract length and payment which was why they were negotiating in the first place. The legal grey area is collusion between Zeus's and Kiin's agency where they could have monopolized their power of having the 2 best top laners in the LCK to get a higher payout. That is the illegal part and is illegal if they actually worked together. The verbal agreement is a argument that only clueless people make. Intent isn't and agreement when you have not agreed on all the details.
@@briwoongames Congrats T1 fanboys entered the chat. Never defended Zeus's agent. Only corrected misinformation. I always said the collusion thing was problem. But these made up stuff by T1 fanboys are just cringe at this point.

15:54 A verbal agreement actually does have legal effect in S Korea, not every verbal agreement but ones that meets requirements. So kind of like commonlaw marriage in the US. You are not officially married in paper but still can play right of married partner.
Alot of people said Zeus has made a verbal agreement which clearly didn't happen. He make have expressed intent to resign but clearly didn't officially agree on anything as THEY WERE LITTLERALLY NEGOTIATING after that allegedly happened. You can agree to resign verbally but if you did not specify the salary and the contract length then that verbal agreement holds literally no value.

My friend told me that the agency is known to be questionable, theyre very shady in the Korean football scene. During these "dark times", the light I see is I hope Doran changes to a different player after signing with T1 to prove me and everyone else wrong. Good luck to Doran and I hope he takes this opportunity to be a really solid one-of-top-3 tops right now in LCK.
The grey zone is they believe they price fixed they found zeus' value then inflated it by signing Kiin first and gave T1 an impossible deadline all while HLE's initial offer still fell in line with what the agent wanted. Since this happened in Korea rather then a grain of sault I'd take this as a entire shaker of salt cause this sort of stuff happens all the time with their celebrities.
Hey @Caedrel, Korean fan here. The "legal grey area" refers to a situation or issue where the law is unclear, ambiguous, or lacks specific regulations, making it open to interpretation for RATS to find those small spaces that aren't illegal.
The question is more what was "grey" in this instance. Its seems like Zeus agent might have negotiated in a very shrewd and calculated manner that put alot of pressure on T1 but where did he come close to doing something illegal or "grey".
Since he was reading a translated text from Korean to English, I was just explaining how the term "legal grey area" is used in Korean news sources. I'm not saying that I'm a professional in law or anything. : )
@@LeUtschig grey area is a term synonymous with ambigous, it ism't clear white (good) or black (bad) which is why its a grey area. its basically just loopholes and we can go on a long tangent about contract laws but in all honesty we may never get the whole info we'll need on what was breached or what is acceptable behavior. its up to them to settle it out
trying to make more money from the org is ok, but tricking your teammates to sign low salary contracts in order to play together one more year is fking dog behaviour
Man what a way for this all to end.. Just a bitter as fuck taste after 2 world's wins with the same roster back-to-back. We didn't even get a month to celebrate before this corporate drama was shat into our mouths.
the legal area is the fact that two "different" parties truly under the same parent potentially colluding to manipulate the market in a way that's beneficial for them financially, especially the not showing up to the morning meeting potentially as an intentional tactic to get more profits. not strictly illegal, but shady and underhanded. these kinds of shady things also commonly point to more fraudulent things going on behind the scenes as well, but its all just alleged
What matters most is that ZOFGK, the Greatest Roster of all time, is broke and Zeus, rooted from T1 academy, is completely broke up with T1. Nobody expected that Zeus and T1 will break this badly😢
Yeah its just sad. We don't know what went down, but it'll still taint Zeus legacy with T1. If he just left on amicable terms it would be one thing but... this entire drama has been quite upsetting.
Nah even by the time T1 letting go of Zeus, he was already signed by HLE. The reason T1 can't sign him in the first place is because he already sign with another team. It's just the announcement that just come now.
People keep saying the funniest thing that can happen is Doran breaking t1 worlds buff or t1 breaking Doran's curse But I think the funniest thing to happen is if neither geng hle or t1 are the top lck contenders. Imagine having all these drama lead to nothing lol
I've tried to ignore the drama, because it's a game, not TV, but I guess curiosity got the better of me. A few thoughts as I watched this: 1. Verbal contracts are legally binding in Korea, they're actually legally binding in the UK and many other countries as well. Proving there was verbal agreement is difficult, unless someone recorded it after getting a shady feeling from the agent. 2. I have really big doubts about the money offer being the point of contention. LCK already introduced salary caps, and longevity increases that cap, if I'm not mistaken. Not sure how that works, and I may have misinterpreted, but I do believe staying with the same team nets the highest potential salary. 3. Tying to point 2, monetary gains are definitely higher with T1. Contract money is short-term, branding is long-term, and branding earns a lot more money. Faker is the prime example, successful, loyal, and his reward is MONEY. 4. I don't know Korean law, but IF this does become a legal issue, and ruled in T1's favour, maybe the contracts can be nulled? Probably won't help the situation, it screws both teams over, and lawsuits can take a long time, so it's probably moot, but for the sake of righteousness, i.e. if the agent IS doing something shady, donkey slapping him so he'll never represent a player again, maybe it will be considered? 5. Amidst the rumours, I really wonder if the agent was being honest with Zeus. What if Zeus was told a different story? Lies about the offers, lies about the contracts, lies about T1 negotiations, purposely blocking Zeus from knowing T1's intentions, etc etc. Honestly, if the agent is shady, it could be that Zeus never even knew T1's intentions.
I dont care about rumors or sues or wtf ever that much, because, I dont think however the outcome that we get, this 2025 year, we will not have T1 Zeus anymore, which is very sad
TL:DR: Agent made the decision for him and let him know afterwards. He becomes legally binded so can't say anything or generally deny it. It's a legal grey area in korea, but it's more of a moral one. This is not uncommon behavior, idols have countless cases like this. The Agent played dirty, and unfortunately, this will taint Zeus image. If he doesn't win anything next year, he will be shat on. As will T1. But the irony of T1 just winning everything again next year is on the table, and that will surely tank Zeus as a player forever. League won't forget this i'm sure, some nameless greedy corps ruined this story for a few extra grand. Hanwa Life cannot outbid T1. Just his worlds skin value would give him the extra cash. This will surely hurt those sales. Not even going about the advertising on his brand, and sponsors. This is just a huge L for Zeus. The Agent has something against T1, and are playing their cards to fuck them over.
This only makes things worse for Doran. What happened happened, Zeus is gone. All we can do is hope for the best in Doran and for the transition to be smooth. Everyone is so worried about him choking internationally not realizing it could tear his confidence down even lower, when we need him to feel welcomed and comfortable enough to be able to perform
@@anhnnguyen7444I hope so, mad props for having the guts to even coming over knowing how the T1 fanbase is. Not an easy thing especially when it’s so easy for the fans next year to try and blame him for T1 not winning a 3rd world title in a row.
Most reaction I saw are the fans happy that Doran saved T1 from being screwed over with Zeus leaving at the last minute. Of course people would blame him the most if T1 fail to perform but who knows. T1 did get to Worlds Final with Huni so anything is possible.
@@ellakai3340Normally I would agree, but Riot is the one in charge. They just happen to also manufacture both those things, but at the same time have a say in the rules and laws. They could very much get involved.
I feel really sad for Zeus here. I feel like he wanted to stay with ZOFGK based on his post. Feels like this isnt what he wanted. Im happy for Doran and cant wait to see what t1 acomplishes with him, but as someone who is really knew to the esports scene i was excited to have a roster that it felt like i knew would stay consistent. Kinda a bummer. Im also scared for doran and the amound of presssure hes gonna feel from t1 fans. Scary position to be in.
To help give Caedrel some context at 16:00 (on whether or not verbal agreements are legally binding), in the UK, verbal agreements are legally binding but for the agreement to be usable in court, it has to meet a few conditions ie: An offer should be made by one party and accepted by another. Something of value should be exchanged in return of a promise. etc. In the US, I believe it varies state by state? But seeing as this took place in Korea, I have NO idea.
Yes but from what is said in the video, it is clear that they did not officially agree to anything. Zeus expressed that he wanted to resign but they did not confirm the salary amount and the contact length. So that verbal agreement doesn't mean anything.
I am just curious about the Red Bull event in December. Will we see Doran for the first time play with OFGK? And the skins..that will be awkward now..the T1 logo and branding on it (it will be released in 2025 with zeus sporting hle and orange). In relation to that, with the sentiment hanging around zeus, it might translate to sales hit on his skin choice. Furthermore, we all know the idol culture of SK, I am so afraid now for Wooje, of how he will be treated,🥺
world champions leaving their team right after winning worlds is pretty common so i don't think thats a big issue. Doran will definitely play in red bull match they can't just have zeus play on their team again LMAO
I hope Doran won't get mistreated from this whole situation. I don't think the T1 players and staff are bad ppl but in the heat of everthing they could feel as if they are now "stuck" with him. I hope no such thing will start reflecting on him and that the fans won't grow to resent him either :c
Dont worry they will love doran there. Zeus n his agent already in t1 bad blood lol T1 become a domestic king now w doran. N just hope intl other members carry doran

The T1 players accepting Doran and treating him well isn't something you need to worry about! Bang, Wolf, and Gumayusi were playing games on stream with Doran yesterday already.

DORAN`S RING WORLDS
I’d think that Doran would prefer to play with T1 anyway. Who wouldn’t jump on the chance to play with a renowned org and roster.. and Faker.

Agent got bribed by other teams to weaken t1
Zeus wanted money and let a greedy agency dictate everything, allowing them to strong-arm, cheat, and disregard his 4 year home team. It's fine to leave, but either give the team time to negotiate with another top-level top laner or at least TALK to your team who has been patient with you for the entire contract season, letting you get "market evaluated", after which they closely matched the competition's offers. Zeus and his agency stalled as long as they can, then refused to talk when T1 finally had no other options.
Water is wet?
@jiwoos19 Zeus himself probably has very little control over the negotiations. He tells his agent what he wants, and then like most celebrities/stars, he probably only gets updates from his agent and does whatever the agents says is best. A lot of contracts actually forbid organizations/companies/teams from speaking directly to the client as it can be viewed as a breach of free agency.
This is griffin all over again
It's for sure grey, but it does smell fishy.
riot rules aren't the core issue..it's a Korean law dispute most likely: bad faith negotiation...conflict of interest...if they truly did make Kiin sign earlier to leverage Zeus thats illegal: why? because they didn't represent Kiin's best interest, instead leveraging him to make money for another player, the bad faith pertains to T1: verbal agreements have somewhat binding character under law, ghosting an org to entertain other offers after reaching a verbal agreement and not giving a decent chance to counter based on time constraints you yourself created potentially shows bad faith (which is also illegal)...the fact that you represented both Zeus and Kiin and might have conflicting interests, reached verbal agreement, then purposefully created time pressure, didn't give a chance to counter AND signed a 1+1 contract after specifying the issue lay in contract duration even though the same duration was offered by the verbally agreed-upon party are all patterns hinting at bad faith behaviour and misrepresentation
ultimately T1 will have to prove collusion between Zeus and Kiin's agents for either case to hold water though
Wouldn't Korean law supersede the rules laid out by Riot in this case since they could potentially sue for breach of contract and insider trading?
@@johnkirk1772 I read somewhere that verbal agreements are legally enforceable in SK. So the agencies are most likely looking at breach of contract, possibly insider trading, possibly unjust enrichment.

Young people make mistakes all the time. When you are old enough you will quickly realize that young adults are just big kids and they often get exploited because of that. That’s why a common advice is don’t make a life changing decision before 25, like marriage.
It’s extremely obvious that this is just another agency screwing over everyone for money. This is not the first in professional sport scenes and we have seen it played out many times.

Faker is there practically for eternity, the dude's a part owner of the WHOLE ORG
Gumayusi stated he wants to remain in T1 . So I think it's safe to say Guma is staying in T1 for the foreseeable future
At least if they parted ways on a good term I (and i believe most of fans) would be able to cherish those memories and let Zeus go in peace.
I'm still waiting for clarification and hopefully not the PR bs response. And I hope from that clarification there is at least a point that implying Zeus is not at fault here and they are on good term with him. I really don't want Zeus have badblood either with OFGK or even T1 org.

Honestly, I keep wondering if the opinions of the parents or the agency might have been bigger than the opinions of the 21-year-old player. Otherwise, zeus had no intention of renewing his contract from the beginning, had no affection for the team, and just damaged T1 by measuring his salary. Edit: No offence to Huni and I think he played very decent that year, but I think he got burnt out by the training and stress by the end of the year.
HE IS ZEUS

Two agents managing different players at the same agency colluding during player negotiations sounds like a blatant conflict of interest.
@@SpiceCh That is not how conflict of interest works. No1, They ARE NOT managed by the same agency. I have pointed his out last comment but you chose to ignore it. Timeline summary:
1. T1 made an initial offer but Zeus's agency replied with 'got nothing to say'
2. 10AM meeting scheduled on 19th Nov - Zeus and his agency did not show up
3. Zeus signed the deal with HLE around 1:40PM
4. Zeus's agency threw 3:00PM deadline (T1 crosschecked with HLE, and revealed that no such deadline existed)
5. T1 COO headed to Incheon to initiate direct conversation with Zeus (because Zeus's agency did not or was not willing to communicate)
6. Zeus's agency notified the breakdown of negotiation by wire around 3:40PM
There were rumours of 4M offer and T1 trying to cut Zeus's wages - which turned out to be nothing close to facts - but interestingly these rumours were in favour of Zeus parting ways with T1.
People get caught up in other peoples schemes, don't immediately point fingers before all the proof is out.
could you imagine if t1 wins with doran? it would be peak comedy gold
There's a lot of talk about the agency, but what is Zeus' role in all of this? He has to be on board for something like this to happen, no?
Yes he definitely has to. So many people trying to absolve him from guilt when he is also responsible for this situation
These players are still extremely immature, don’t be surprised if his agent just manipulated him
People saying Zeus is the one signing the contract sure.
Perhaps seeing that T1 were 40 min late Zeus assumed they didn't wanna sign?
Lol dude was fishing from last year. How ignorant do you think he is?
@@CCLethe but zeus and his agent not picking up phonecalls is wild though
But know what, just googled it :

So i guess this is why they are talking about grey law areas, and why they feel like they can sue that agent.
Congrats, the Zeus agency defender replied to you XD. that Hyui guy
@@briwoongames Congrats T1 fanboys entered the chat. Never defended Zeus's agent. Only corrected misinformation. I always said the collusion thing was problem. But these made up stuff by T1 fanboys are just cringe at this point.
@@hyui5096 you're a big misinformation.
@@hyui5096You have reply to must of the comments under this video with the same reply dude🤨🤨 it you are not a bot you are definitely working for that agency, I hope you are getting paid at least 😂
We all know what agents natures are, and what they are capable of destroying peoples career😃
15:54 A verbal agreement actually does have legal effect in S Korea, not every verbal agreement but ones that meets requirements. So kind of like commonlaw marriage in the US. You are not officially married in paper but still can play right of married partner.
Honestly Fuck it we ball, we going all in on Doran and win that chip one more time. The 6th is for Doran!
Verbal agreement in Korea has legal binding if you can prove it.
@@hyui5096 bro why are you all over the comments section when you also know nothing T-T Touch some grass
@@colenayson because i have free time? maybe you can go to uni or something and learn how to debate instead of using touch some grass as your argument. Very uneducated method of having an tantrum.
If this couldn’t stop T1 from being the World Champion again, I don’t know what will HAHAHA
probably faker retiring is the only way lol
@ HAHAHAH true
LOS RATONES will stop them
dude Faker is the foundation of T1 without him T1 will collapse
The problem is the way he leave. What a disappoint. Zeus just need to do this in a bad way.
Thanks, Captain Obvious! 🤡
@@dazz_online 13:27
The question is more what was "grey" in this instance. Its seems like Zeus agent might have negotiated in a very shrewd and calculated manner that put alot of pressure on T1 but where did he come close to doing something illegal or "grey".
Since he was reading a translated text from Korean to English, I was just explaining how the term "legal grey area" is used in Korean news sources. I'm not saying that I'm a professional in law or anything. : )
@@LeUtschig grey area is a term synonymous with ambigous, it ism't clear white (good) or black (bad) which is why its a grey area. its basically just loopholes and we can go on a long tangent about contract laws but in all honesty we may never get the whole info we'll need on what was breached or what is acceptable behavior. its up to them to settle it out
Simplified the gray area is just tempering similar to Canna that the player or agents were communicating with hanwha before the legal timeline
trying to make more money from the org is ok, but tricking your teammates to sign low salary contracts in order to play together one more year is fking dog behaviour
Or, one could say, FKDOG behaviour
Man what a way for this all to end.. Just a bitter as fuck taste after 2 world's wins with the same roster back-to-back. We didn't even get a month to celebrate before this corporate drama was shat into our mouths.
agent went chovy IRL
underrated 😂
It translates to "agent went breeding IRL" wtffff
Now hes gonna turn Zeus into chovy (never wins worlds)
bruh chovy isn't this shit irl, agent is way cancer
the legal area is the fact that two "different" parties truly under the same parent potentially colluding to manipulate the market in a way that's beneficial for them financially, especially the not showing up to the morning meeting potentially as an intentional tactic to get more profits. not strictly illegal, but shady and underhanded. these kinds of shady things also commonly point to more fraudulent things going on behind the scenes as well, but its all just alleged
The timing of this upload, Zeus signing with HLE was announced just now.
Nah even by the time T1 letting go of Zeus, he was already signed by HLE.
The reason T1 can't sign him in the first place is because he already sign with another team. It's just the announcement that just come now.
@@AhmadIzzJ I dont know, what you are on about, but sure captain obvious.
People keep saying the funniest thing that can happen is Doran breaking t1 worlds buff or t1 breaking Doran's curse
But I think the funniest thing to happen is if neither geng hle or t1 are the top lck contenders.
Imagine having all these drama lead to nothing lol
And which 3-4 teams will drop all GEN, HLE, and T1 from top 3-4?
DO YOU BROLIEVE????
@@Kriskl LMAAOOOOOOOOOOOOO
If that's the funniest thing. RIP humour
Just imagine the top 4 teams being 1-Kt 2-Dk 3-Fox 4-Bro what a timeline xD.
there's even a ZOFGK drinks and gimbap collabs in korean convenience stores. this brand is far bigger than just selling some merches.
I've tried to ignore the drama, because it's a game, not TV, but I guess curiosity got the better of me. A few thoughts as I watched this:
I dont care about rumors or sues or wtf ever that much, because, I dont think however the outcome that we get, this 2025 year, we will not have T1 Zeus anymore, which is very sad
fr lol
This is sad but let's just see I'll still support T1
T1 fan love doran now after all of this lol
@@anhnnguyen7444I hope so, mad props for having the guts to even coming over knowing how the T1 fanbase is. Not an easy thing especially when it’s so easy for the fans next year to try and blame him for T1 not winning a 3rd world title in a row.
@@chinguya4334 good thing I'm much more of a Faker fan than a T1 fan
He has Faker now, all good.
Most reaction I saw are the fans happy that Doran saved T1 from being screwed over with Zeus leaving at the last minute. Of course people would blame him the most if T1 fail to perform but who knows. T1 did get to Worlds Final with Huni so anything is possible.
Will Riot investigate this or is this out of their control? About the whole same agency has Kiin and Zeus
The people who build football stadions and manufacture the balls have no say in player politics.
@@ellakai3340Normally I would agree, but Riot is the one in charge. They just happen to also manufacture both those things, but at the same time have a say in the rules and laws. They could very much get involved.
Wasn't it mentioned before that Zeus' agent was notorious in Korea? Not just for esports pros but even for traditional sports?
Thanks for watching Caedrel 🤝
I feel really sad for Zeus here. I feel like he wanted to stay with ZOFGK based on his post. Feels like this isnt what he wanted. Im happy for Doran and cant wait to see what t1 acomplishes with him, but as someone who is really knew to the esports scene i was excited to have a roster that it felt like i knew would stay consistent. Kinda a bummer.
Im also scared for doran and the amound of presssure hes gonna feel from t1 fans. Scary position to be in.
Yeah, they fuck it up, now everyone will get piss with zeus for all this controversy...
Nah can't be me.
Furthermore, we all know the idol culture of SK, I am so afraid now for Wooje, of how he will be treated,🥺
oh please, he should already know these by now. he’s not that innocent.
world champions leaving their team right after winning worlds is pretty common so i don't think thats a big issue. Doran will definitely play in red bull match they can't just have zeus play on their team again LMAO
Depends on what really happened, as long as Zeus isn't Canna 2.0 of course.
Sounds like the adults in the room couldn’t get their shit together and the kids suffered again
Honestly, that "Let's get married next year" mistranslation shocked me that I fell off my chair. WTF.
To be fair, it's something Guma would actually say.. jokingly of course.
N just hope intl other members carry doran
i mean they should be actually thanking the guy. dude was set to play in lpl but decided to save T1 from playing the year with an academy or random top laner.
Of course some will judge and blame him if T1 perform badly but atm most people are happy and grateful for him willing to sign with T1 last minute.
Look at how nice T1 treated Rekkles. They will treat Doran well for sure.
The T1 players accepting Doran and treating him well isn't something you need to worry about! Bang, Wolf, and Gumayusi were playing games on stream with Doran yesterday already.
What I am mad about is the cancelling of the T1 merch because I was one of those who asked my KR friend to buy whatever merch they gonna launch soon 😫👊
Even with Zeus gone I'm gonna proudly wear their T1 jacket, got both 4 star jacket and presale 5 star jacket is on the way (January). They still did amazing in the past 3 years and this year's worlds were nuts. I do hope that T1 and Zeus won't have any legal issues and hope to see Zeus come back next year (idk how long current contract is)
its 1+1 year contract and afaik the rumor is t1 blacklisted zeus agency , so unless zeus doesnt get out from the current agency when the contract end it will unlikely zeus will ever back to t1
