AGREED about 4 months ago I was debating getting my hair done/dyed for the first time (I’m naturally brunette) and I really wanted ginger but I eventually did red and all of a sudden on social media and in my personal life people started dying their hair ginger. I think it might just be a fall vibe or a new trend but everyone whose done it looks amazing!

Also - it’s really reassuring to hear people now a days talk positively gingers. I was bullied quite a bit as a kid for red hair, and dyed it blonde as soon as I turned 11. Kelt it blonde, and lied about my red hair due to embarrassment til I was 20 years old.

Can’t even repeat half the things people said to me (went home crying regularly) Hating myself because of the color of my hair. I’m so glad it’s not like that anymore. I’m sorry you felt like you had to dye your hair because you were bullied for something you were naturally born with. I hope you’re no longer embarrassed. I still definitely have days where it’s difficult. Now that I’m an adult it has become much easier to stop caring what people think.

I have dyed my hair just about every color, just because I get bored with it, but red, dark brown, and blonde are my main colors I go back and forth from lol. I add a bit of fuchsia so it’s like a deep, pink/red/little mermaid vibes lol. Anyway, I love this color on her! She can seriously pull off any color though. 😆❤️

YES!! i love dyeing my hair red/ginger! a lot of people have told me that they love my hair color and being a ginger makes me so happy! it’s crazy how much of a change like that can impact how we view ourselves.
TIP!! whenever you shower, use colder water to wash your head because hot water opens up the pores and releases the color so it fades faster. i also use biolage color shampoo which is really great for your hair :)
