Hello Steve your Eureka System makes so much sense, you are my revelation, hitting my balls purer then ever before, keep up that passion and humor thanks Wolfgang - Austria
This one, and the following recent ones on crisp chipping and pitching show a really good, simple way to avoid the yips, chunks, thins and of course tears! I really love the suggestion to think about making the swing - bruising, covering etc rather than hit the ball - we can all do that easily! When I think about hitting the ball as the main part of the process there are about 100 ways my body hits it - none where I was planning on sending the ball! Thanks Steve!!!
I use ball position back and front foot for height variations along with high or low handle with open or square club face. I like this swing thought and will be working on it. Thanks steve
Your left hand appears to be extremely strong.. When I started doing that several years ago my chipping improved 100%.. I just wished it worked for longer clubs without the big hook !!
727sky, a Stronger Left Hand (for these short pitches) lets one both accelerate the wedge while being able to "Hold Off" the closing of the clubface. Not enough Ball Speed to produce "a hook", yet if you watch the shots filmed from Behind the Hole the lower running shots did have some Right to Left roll out. (Draw Spin) Plus, with Steve's narrow, open stance, the "Stronger Left Hand" is actually fairly Square to the Target Line. (Watch pitches filmed behind Steve, "down the line".)
Yes, on the higher trajectory shots I'm a little open to encourage more bounce to be used. Also lowering the hands a fraction brings more bounce into play although I'm not lowering the hands on this shot. Great question
Hi Steve I’ve uploaded my golf swing would you kindly review it and and give me some feedback ? Would be mostly appreciated as I’m really struggling at the moment. I still seem to hit the ball really well but not consistently , that was my 3 wood 14.5 degree
