Brought them up in church with positive male figures and kept them involved with positive activities. I worked and went back to school for nursing. They still chose wrong paths. Most parents are picking their kids up and dropping them off at schools now because its just not safe having your kids on these school busses anymore. I saw one video where a boy was being raped on the school bus by an older student and the bus driver just thought it was the kids arguing and fighting. The school had to call the boys mother and tell her he had been assaulted on the school bus. The mother didn't know the extent was a sexual assault until she was asking her son. Its crazy what goes on onboard these school busses.
She made sure to get the aide and student to safety and call for help. For all knew, her life could be at risk because the teens could have come back to attack her, too.
They weren't on the bus with the targeted student. A girl was involved who set up the whole attack. The thugs waited for her to get off the bus then they rushed on and attacked the boy.
How is she being hailed as a hero for staying on the bus as if her presence made a difference. I would not be inclined to show my face. Just because the police arrested the kids doesn't mean she's out of the woods.
