The bogged.
This new mob may not look like much, but as of this video, it has just become the center of one of the most efficient farms ever made for Minecraft Bedrock Edition.
With only one single, surface only platform in simulation distance 4, this weird skeleton variant allows us to produce a whopping 24,000 stackable items, including over 17,000 mushrooms in a completely automated design.
It also makes you bones, arrows and poisoned arrows.
With Added composters and crafters, it can turn into a very god bone meal farm, producing about 9,500 bone meal items per hour.
And that is - without even taking things semi-split density!

Everyone who is wondering about the village: Pillager patrols don't spawn if a player is in a village. Because patrols have a high weight in mangrove swamps, when he created a village, he saw a noticeable increase in bogged spawning rate. This behavior does happens for surface spawns in other overworld biomes, however, it seems to have the biggest effect on bogged in mangrove swamps.
Thanks for the precious input.

Mas o número de Villagers (entidades) não atrapalha na produção/atolados?
@@smario01 (translation: doesn't the number of villagers (entities) hinder mob production?)
Answer: no, villagers won't hinder production. They don't have a spawn_rule JSON file, and as a consequence, they don't count against the total mob cap. You could have well over 200 villagers and spawns will still happen normally.
(There are only 20 villagers maximum anyways even with the full iron farm).
That I crazy, the behavior with the shears firing same tick!
Oh wow!! You found the best Bonemeal farm, and it doesn't COST Bonemeal!! I have to admit I forgot you could compost Mushrooms. Adding the Iron Farm is wonderful. Thanks to the Crafter and that nifty little circuit that opens when you need another Shears it is maintenance free as well. Brilliant!
I would love some more Tutorials on this, and on the Crafter in general.
In terms of bonemeal production, these are not the top rates for Bedrock Edition. Rufus and Adi have come up with a design that makes something like 19,500 bonemeal items per hour from moss (so like you said, it costs bonemeal to make bonemeal).
However, Rufus/Adi's farm uses lava/water ticking which can cause issues and requires to be chunk aligned.
This Bogged design simply can't cause any amount of lag. It is easy to setup, and also could be expanded with semi-split density.
But, and that's a pretty big downside, it only works in mangrove swamps, which are rare biomes!
@@oaretv Yes, Rufus and Adi have a huge machine (skip the lava/water ticking problems) that is complicated and will take hours and hours to make and trouble shoot. (does it really get that much Bonemeal!?? wow.) The Moss Farms can be as easy or as complex as you really want to spend the time making.
This is a Platform. It is simple and wonderful... with the possibility of having it's mechanics broken (so does the Moss Farm). Rare Biome, yes... But if the Villager changes happen, you will have the opportunity to have Mending easily available. ^_^
At 20:00 I don't know if it's a bug but I tested with a sheep and it's work x) Thanks to share your knowlege ^^. Keep going 👍
Great to see the final result out for everyone! Great video with lots of information, thanks for making this a reality!
Thanks again for pitching the idea. I really like the outcome! I never thought I'd get this involved in making a Bogged farm.
Hehe ill be working somenthing similar (no bogged) great farm ❤
Great to see the trick with dispensers still works on the bogged.
I wonder why the village boosts mob spawning. Is this only in mangrove swamps?
I’ve started testing the villager thin in other scenarios, but for now it only seems to work in mangrove swamps.
I am still far from having tested everything though.

Yes.
There are actually a lot of blocks that indicate Northwest.
Even a simple crafting table has an indication of NW, inside of the 9 squares on the top side!
There are darker spots inside of the squares. The only one that can be top left indicates NW, as shown in this picture:

It can be quite useful in early game.
Looks amazing! Could you use the shearing mechanic to get more wool from sheep farms? Also a split density density farm wpuld probably get over 10k bonemeal an hour. Great video
Thanks!
Split density would put us above the 10k bonemeal mark, without the slightest doubt.
All the shearing tricks shown in the video work on any shearable mob in the game. So mooshroom, snow golems, and of course sheep are affected.
As a sidenote, they even work with armadillos for scutes.
But those don't make a whole lot of sense, because armadillos never run out of scutes AFAIK.
More dispensers/brushes just makes collecting scutes a lot faster - up to seven times faster, actually!
could this be done in a split density 5? for maximum bonemeal rates. Also, with some changes you could fit 14 dispensers (droping the bogged in the middle of 4 blocks, 6 dispensers per side + the 2 on the exit side) so you could get 48 mushrooms per bogged.
This can absolutely be done with 5 density areas. Just reduce the platform size to 16x16.
As for the number of dispensers, the maximum number that can be used is actually 18.
In a static scenario, it is even possible to bump it up to 24, but very impractical.
I figured out a way to make the 18 version work very well.
It will be featured in my next farm (which will not be a bogged farm), so stay tuned!
@@oaretv i was working with this as well after I saw the video. I noticed the math on my previous comment was wrong, i meant to say 20 ( 6 per side + 2 on the exit) but I managed to fit 22 dispensers (6 by 3 sides, plus 4 in the exit) and ill be testing to see if 24 is possible (and will also test for a theoretic 28 if I push dispensers on top with pistons)
So, 24 was not possible, and doing the 26 like a hell to do, so 22 its a reasonable amount ig
@@carlosandres8041 24 is possible. But it is a little bit tricky.
You need to place 18 dispensers around your bogged, and then 4 underneath (with dispensers firing into dispensers), and then 2 above.
The problem is that you can't retrieve the items automatically, and you also can't refill the two dispensers the bogged is standing on.
So it is just an impractical maximum.
Here is a short clip demonstrating 24 dispensers working.
At the end I have 48 mushrooms.

Can we see an updated storage with crafter for portal ticking gold farm?
I think there are already some designs floating around.
To be frank, I haven't tried to dabble with that. Not knowing any better, I would say it is probably a bit tricky because crafters are slow to output compared to the speed at which they are able to take inputs.
But I'm sure people more clever than me have already come up with solutions!
@@oaretv ahh alright. I will search around elsewhere for it then. Great farms tho (bogged and creeper farm)
@@shitpostmania6061 thanks!
Lol, I thought it would be another useless mob in the game but it looks impressive
Thanks! Between you and me, one alternative title I thought for the video was:
"Farming the Bogged: It can actually be interesting!"
