This song plays on so many levels layered in somber yet graceful tones allowing for an ever changing listening experience every time I hear it I’m homeless now and this song is the one constant that is anchoring me keeping me from doing something I would regret later causing more harm to those that still wish for me to be here
absoultely beautiful, your voice is like a siren call I swear. Your song made a grown man (my father) cry when I played it for him in the car. I've had this song on loop on my airpods fro like two days straight. I'm looking forward to hearing more of your songs.
I totally fan girled a few months ago when I saw your NPR submission. I've been listening on spotify since. I can't wait to come to one of your live shows some day! This is gorgeous. You guys are gorgeous.
I feel so grateful to have been able to watch you grow and change with your music over the years, since way back when I attended your concerts in our tiny college town. Your talent was unmatched then, just as it is now. You should be so incredibly proud of yourself!! 💛
Emma has always been insanely talented but this video takes her music to the next level. It just goes to show that when you combine the gifts of a bunch of insanely talented artists (shoutout to Nate and Ty and Bly and everyone else involved) you can create something even more powerful! Wow, so proud of my friends and their combined level of vision and talent. ♥️🙌🏼
Little moon, your song deeply touched my soul. It’s hard for me to not tear up when I listen. I feel your song, I feel your soul. Thank you for showing me the courage to reach deep in the depths of my own heart to sing. Im also ex LDS and finding my way as a singer songwriter who hasn’t shared her music with the world yet. Best wishes and blessing to you and your band 💖
All it takes is that one break out song that'll make a band/person into the famous category. This is that song. Hopefully you guys put out a record/CD soon? More songs like this one though please 🙏
I can't put my finger on it, but this one doesn't hit the same as the Tiny Desk version. It's the same song, why does this one kinda float by compared to the other pulling out emotions you didn't know you had?
I wonder (ha) now if the keyboard could be much heard in the other version, and can better be heard here (or hear, agh with the puns). I love both but the other better. I wonder if it’s like preferring a hairstyle or perfume of a first love over a second :)
The production is undermining it. I heard the NPR version today and this version sounds like a wreck by comparison. Her voice is so damn good and so unusual. It's a shame to have to compete with that disparate noise in the background!
LOVE LOVE LOVE the song!!!! However, the video does not do the song justice. I liked the Tiny Desk concert video much better which included all the band members.
I am so glad this won the Tiny Desk Contest.
Surely you knew when you wrote this song you created something truly beautiful. Bravo! You deserved the win, and you deserve this recognition.
So glad I found this song through NPR tiny desk. Congratulations!
Your songs are like a poem, story, and dance all playing beautifully to bring you in to the painting of the lyrics!
This song is simply beautiful. One of those tunes that is moving enough to get my eyes all teary.
i can't get enough of this song. It has been on repeat for hours. Thank you so much for creating this song. God damn it is beautiful.

This band blew me away and super glad they won!!! The vocals and the band really go along so well!!!
I love it acoustic! Still a wonderful song & singer! Great band!
Love you guys all the way from the south Pacific island ❤️💯👍🇵🇬
Well done! Haunting, lovely vocals remind me of The Cranberries. The harp is enchanting.
Grateful to be a part of this! Wonderful song! Especially appreciated it with headphones!
SO much talent in you all. Thank you for gracing this earth with your beautiful music ❤️
Sooooooo goooood
This recording production & mix is awesome! Love the Tiny Desk entry version as well. Congrats on the big win, well deserved! ❤
Thank you for this song. It is so gigantic and so very lovely. Congrats on the win!

I have fallen in love with this song ❤❤❤❤ thank you! And congrats on being on Tiny Desk!!!
Incredible song. I want you to know the bandd live performance at the tiny deck moved me to tears.

Wow!
Amazing. Heard you on NPR.
Literally the most pretty song to exist Def my favorite

I’m so in love with this song 🌌
“Is it a tale that you make true in the telling? Is there a knowledge that is found not in knowing?”

I’m in the exact same boat and feel inspired by Emma for exactly the same reasons! ❤
this turned out so ethereal I love it, seriously the most talented and skilled team of people!!! 🖤
beautiful! I do miss the band in this video, the tiny desk video really moved me

magic
Congratulations Emma! I always knew you’d make it big!
While this video is really well done, I personally prefer the less gritty sound found in the original Tiny Desk submission.
No words, this is incredible
This is so much cooler and better than I expected the winner of the Tiny Desk Contest to be honestly omg this is so sick
El himno del despertar espiritual. Abre tus ojos y cuídate desde el presente. Debes estar para ti. No te abandones.
The most lyrical way to describe death!❤

Production matters.

Nooooo the original live recording was perfect! Why add in all the weird techno-synthy noises?!
I wonder (ha) now if the keyboard could be much heard in the other version, and can better be heard here (or hear, agh with the puns). I love both but the other better. I wonder if it’s like preferring a hairstyle or perfume of a first love over a second :)
I like both versions for their own vibes 😅
The production is undermining it. I heard the NPR version today and this version sounds like a wreck by comparison. Her voice is so damn good and so unusual. It's a shame to have to compete with that disparate noise in the background!
LOVE LOVE LOVE the song!!!! However, the video does not do the song justice. I liked the Tiny Desk concert video much better which included all the band members.
This version seems rushed and overproduced. This version should be scrapped.
Ew. Why. It’s fantastic. Just a different take
Honestly I prefer this one a bit more, and saying it should be scrapped just because you think it's rushed is a bit much
