My husband showed this song to me. I left the Mormon church 2 years ago (my husband is still active) and when I googled you, I read about how you came up with this song when grappling with death of all kinds. Leaving religion has made death (including mourning the death of a past life and belief) much more real and terrifying and fascinating to me and I feel this song encapsulates my feelings perfectly. Thank you so much for sharing this beautiful message, these amazing talents, this celestial song. It has put me in tears every time I listen to it.

This had a similar effect on me, bringing up old hurts I thought I had settled and buried. I was certain I would see my loved ones again someday. Letting go of that fantasy was agony.
Letting go of the after life made me cherish the memories I have of those that have passed even more and makes life increasingly miraculous. I’m sorry that has not been your experience. I hope you can find peace and happiness that comforts you such as the moments that this song so eloquently shares

This performance moves me so deeply. I have never heard a song speak so accurately about what it feels to lose someone. The mixed emotions, the appreciation one feels towards life when on the edge of death, the expectance and immense love that fills your heart at life’s sweetest moments, and that feeling you get when it all hits you at the same time.
I don’t agree. This version is better but I wouldn’t write off the polished version.
It's rare for artists to come up with something that's unique and stands apart these days, but this group has achieved the memorable.🙏🙏🙏

I just learned of Little Moon on my way to work this morning while listening to NPR. After hearing all of the great things that the Tiny Desk contest judges had to say about “Wonder Eye”, I just had to listen to the song for myself. I listened to it over and over until I got to work and was just transcended to another world. Thank you for such a beautiful piece of art Little Moon, you touched my heart. 💜🙏🏼

Stunningly, beautiful music I had tears running down my face I don’t think I’ve ever been so moved hearing a tune for the first time!

I heard yall on NPR, and the story of how you and your husband were working on this song while his mother was in hospice care and after her passing, he wrote the lyrics to this. My mother has alzheimers/dementia and while she's still with me it feels like she left me so long ago. Your story touched me and when I heard this song later that day I couldn't hold back my tears-- this mix of the song is very special. *edited @mixaongon
