Why does Louisiana not turn all lanes into outbound lanes during an evacuation? Saw the same thing with Katrina. Here in Texas all lanes only go outbound during evacuation with maybe one lane as an inbound lane if not a mandatory evacuation.

“The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.”

ROMANS 10:9-11 “If you declare with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame”
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭11:28‬ ‭

Pray it doesn't flood. I know a family who lived east of NO. They, husband and wife, were home during Katrina. The water started rising. Finally, the force of the water took their house off the foundation and broke it in half. They swam to tall pin tree and prayed. They were in the tree for three days. With them were snakes, possums, weasels, and a bunch of wild animals that were suffering shock, clinging to a tree, hoping it wouldn't flood more. Once they were rescued, they left the state. Near death changed them.

Weather forecast is one of the field that has so many variables in it. To this day, science can't accurately predict the weather 2 days from now... so they are expecting the worse to come. There is no paper or sources to read only news network (they could be lying) yet people believe it.
Vaccines on the other hand is just chemistry... that can be develop, test, and study with great certainty and there are papers online to read about it. Yet people believe weather forecast over vaccine. This shows that we trust mother nature more than ourself. AND as we are killing ourself... mother nature just does her thing.

⚠️Here is a very important announcement for everyone:
Make sure you follow the generator safety tips whenever you use your portable generator. This information is only for whoever has a portable generator and for those who plan on getting one. This is just a reminder for everyone’s safety. All generator safety rules need to be followed carefully
Here are the generator safety tips:
      1) KEEPING OTHERS SAFE: Please do not allow an unqualified person or your children to operate and service the portable generator. Just because some manuals don’t say that doesn’t mean it’s safe. That is important against the generator safety rules. We also need to be keeping an eye on our children too. You need to make sure that your children are not playing near the portable generator especially when it’s running so they won’t get electrocuted. Generators pose electrical risks and they can be hot during an operation. Please keep your children away from the portable generator at all times. It is important to keep our children safe especially our little ones. Children often get curious about anything so we should keep an eye on them to also make sure they’re not wandering towards the generator.
      2) WHERE TO RUN YOUR GENERATOR: Some people use their portable generators indoors which increases the risk of carbon monoxide poisoning. It’s important to have a carbon monoxide if you have a gas generator. Never ever use your generator indoors even if your doors and windows are open and even in the garage is not safe to use a portable generator. Not even at your porch and your deck. It is never safe to use your generator indoors and in enclosed areas of your home. Your generator needs to be 15-20 feet away from your house.
3)🔥FIRE HAZARDS: Never refuel your generator while it’s running. You need to let your generator cool off before refueling it and before storing your generator. Never overload your generator too. Never ever back feed your generator. You should never plug your generator into a wall outlet. Also never store propane tanks indoors. Please keep flammable things away from the generator as well and please don’t smoke cigarettes near the generator. Having a fire extinguisher next to the generator is also important against the generator safety rules.
      4) GENERATOR OPERATION: make sure your hands are dry before touching the generator. Never use your generator in wet conditions. Don’t let your generator get wet. You need a generator tent if you need to use your generator during wet weather. Please don’t wear loose clothes when operating the generator. Turn on your generator before plugging in appliances. Use the right cord for your generator. Please do not use worn out cords.
ua-cam.com/video/I1jT3ANENvI/v-deo.html and here is a video more about keeping others safe when using generators. It’s better to keep your children safe. All generator safety rules need to be followed carefully.

I remember when Katrina happened. I was in the Lafayette area. It took 12 hours to travel from NOLA to Lafayette. I was on the west side of the storm ...the sky was overcast like nothing was happening in the east. By that evening is when I started hearing "wild" stories of the flooding. Even the most run down house can withstand a hurricane, but the effects of a big surge and flooding was devastating for everyone. I got out and live in another state. I pray my first home can survive and hope they are prepared for some sufferings.

⚠️Here is a very important announcement for everyone when preparing a portable generator for hurricane:
Hope this helps. Make sure you follow all the generator safety rules. And be safe
