Such a good one!!! It's funny but it's exactly what i did these past couple of days. I didn't have an anxious story but more a gloomy one, and I just realized the whole thoughts cloud was not true. As you said I didn't detach immediately but every time it comes I question it and I see it's just a very ingrained cloud of long held thoughts. I think new thoughts to let go of the hard-wired old ones. And the "charge" of the cloud is dissolving each day more and more. Take care, Anne-Sophie
Hi Robin, if possible, would you be able to talk about exam fear? I get so overwhelmed by exams, I can't tell if that's the reason for my existential dread or not, but I think so. I just don't want this to happen every time I have important exams.

I have aphantasia with derealisation so it is difficult for me to picture things in my mind. Want to trick my subconscious mind into believing that everything is safe but visualisation videos don't work for me. Any suggestions? Regards
Hi! Very good question. You can use pictures of people you feel safe with/ watch a movie that embodies safety for you and focus on how your body feels while watching it. Another thing you can try is focussing on the question: who would I be in this moment if I felt safe and what would I do? Then trying to act like that version of you
