I think it would be a really neat idea to do something like this on a lift gate. I had the wild idea to make a motorcycle lift/ patio out of a truck that had a lift gate equipped already.
That end result though… fantastic man!!! We just dealing with the basics getting our 16’ 7.3L ready for conversion… Dis you make a video showing how you did the draw bridge patio at the back? Hope so! Can’t wait to share our build with you one day!
Thanks! Good luck. The deck is simply supported by pulling out the loading ramp a few feet. It's more than sturdy enough to support the deck + 2 people.
Will you be adding a all video playlist? So fans like me can binge watch all your vids. Hint great way for fans to help increase your view and session time. Well done
Excellent work! Very creative and ingenious design work in particular. Personally, I would not want a patio deck and sliding doors on a stealth home. I’d never actually use it. The weight of the structure does not justify the benefit.
Man this is next level stuff. You're starting to get into Class C level retail value. You may find yourself leaving an RV show in an Uber and sack full of cash.
Do you think I could make a whole fold-down ramp door (not half and half) on my box truck out of a wood frame like you did? I know that would be more weight than the half door. How much flex does yours have?
It has a negligble amount of flex if you stand on the very edges. The loading ramp supports it - You could use the loading ramp to support a full size patio I think.
@@TheTechnoBarbarian Very good, as wood construction is much easier. Are you worried about any rotting or bowing? Could probably remedy that with a sealant.

@@mikenelson7890 I planned on using it myself before selling, but if I get an offer I cant refuse... I'd be willing to let it go and build another.
