I love this channel… It's amazing how this guy can fight his way through so many failures and spend so much time and effort to construct such nonsense 😂😂
Great new UA-cam channel these projects are great. One thing I’d like to see in the future is some links to some of the things you use/buy in these vids. I would love to know were u got the front hub motor. Again great vid just trying to help.
Loving your videos. If you could please normalise them a little bit so the music sections aren't deafening compared to the narration, that would be greatly appreciated. tia
A couple tips for your cheap MIG welding experience. Make sure you don't skimp out on cheap flux core welding wire if you don't have gas and if you do argon is a pretty cheap gas that's quite effective to use. Also from the looks of your welds do you have your wire speed a bit too high and your voltage last temperature a bit too low. You've got full penetration welds in some spots and weak surface welds and others that is shown by the coloration of the metal around the welding area.
I foresee issues with fitting the ice tires and finding a balance between inflating too much and breaking the tire, while also having enough pressure to keep the tire from coming off. Also aluminum hubs causing thermal transfer issues.
Came here from the Hackaday article. Why 3D printed molds for the wheels when you could have used smaller plastic buckets? Whatever the metric equivalent of a 2.5 gallon bucket is should be about the right size.
Water don't freeze that fast. In Sweden we make ice-lanterns in the winter by leaving a bucket of water outside in the cold over night. Then release the ice and pour out the water from the core.
You should try making circular Wheels. Like, I suppose this might use some sort of advanced magnetism that you might not understand or have created yet but I feel that if you're going to keep working with wheels in not hover technology is where it's going
I commend your efforts! Honestly do. But i fear you have made a power slide trike. Drifting requires power at the back wheels. The idea is to control the tire spin between grip and slip. There is a reason why front wheel drive cars don’t enter drift competitions. Im sorry but you are not drifting. You are power-sliding.
That’s pretty cool! Composites are really interesting, could you make a whole 4 wheeled vehicle using just ice composites. Could be cool.
But like it would have quite little friction or what it's called.
@@viktoranderas9541 True, true. But it would be pretty heavy and probably wouldn't be a problem.
What he should do is go the other way and get an electric wheel (unicycle). These things are AMAZING and some can go very fast, like 50mph fast.
I love this channel… It's amazing how this guy can fight his way through so many failures and spend so much time and effort to construct such nonsense 😂😂
Glad you enjoyed! Everyone loves a bit of nonsense! 😄
Love the build and execution! Cameraman banter made the video especially funny
I don't understand how you don't have way more views. Your content is amazing
Tom filming the doorway instead of helping was brilliant.
Fantastic job, I wish more people could see this masterpiece 😄
Impressive how well the reinforced ice held up!
this guy is a hidden gem, you deserve way more followers man
I have a feeling that Garage 54 is going to come out with a wheel much like this. Impressive Sam!
thanks for showing the process like that, incredibly satisfying
Looking forward to the quad bike next!

Shame the rear wheels weren't power driven, with your welder, you could've welded some motor mounts and chain + sprocket combo.
You definitely deserve more subscribers with the cool videos you have made keep it up dude👍
Loving your videos.

Yeah, really enjoyed the video but the music was a bit much.
I want one lol I never knew drift trikes were a thing but this looks like SO much fun
Great project it looked like it handled pretty well !
Thanks Daniel, I’m enjoying your content too

I am thoroughly impressed by the fluff piecrete
Idk how you have so few subs, this production value is very high
THIS GUY IS UNDERRATED
Reminds me when the kids would go to Burger King in their Citroen Saxo's, put plastic trays under the rear wheels, apply handbrake and slide around 🤣
How do your videos not have millions of views? Amazing content
You need to make a whole pykrete trike. That way it’s strong. 😂
Sam really do be playing gmod in real life lol
Lol!
What if those rear wheels had multiple small desk chair wheels?
so cool man! I loved the bit with the door lmao
When you referenced the percentage used to create the pycrete did you mean by weight?
I think he meant volume
@@joashchechet TY
What motor and battery did you use?
Came here to ask the same question.
Looks cool but if u want to be able to hold a drift, u need rear wheel drive not front! I'd still play on it tho! Haha
Hilarious! Love your content
Thx Tom for showing us this
Use saw dust next time, you can buy it at farm supplies for cheap. It's like litter for horses.
Great work

I'm sorry to tell you this but you forgot to make a tr-icicle joke
Nooooooo 🤣 love it
3:24 relatable xD
Where did you get the electric wheel from?!
It’s a 3Kw 20 inch hubmotor from Ali Express 😀
pikrete beer holder?
Can you make a whole bike out of that stuff?
amazing video was really fun to watch
You can actually remove the cassette and use two nuts for the right side without widening your fork.
But then what was he gonna do with his new welder?
Unfortunately even with the cassette removed (which I did later on) it was still too wide…and yes any excuse to use the welder 😅
Dad.... Have you seen this? Lets build one too (with normal wheels) :-)
But yeah keep going I want to see more where this came from
This is crazy cool
7:13 was concerned for a second
Rupert thanks you for your concern. 😀
Amazing strong ice
Nice Dyson dust collector.
Keep up videos dude
Colin Furz later year project 😂💪
You made a front wheel drive vehicle. Have you not watched literally any top gear?
Pretty cool
i heard some bird call' what state do you live in, turkey? greece? cyprus?
So now do you believe that they could have built a carrier out of PiCrete?
oh nice this is channel type what i was looking for.... anyways make whole bike from pykrete
This is so stupid I love it !
1:25 that's the moment you realize you forgot to open the CO2 bottle :D.
I'm happy , i saw a caterham
i thought drift trikes typically powered the rear wheels.
I like my ice still runny in the middle, don't over-do your ice
Try ice wheels on a frozen lake?
Was that a stranger with the caterham?
Drift trike? More like a snowdrift trike! The suspension I presume was "quite hard"...
LOL New subscriber here
Waiting for the day you make an aircraft and mix your day job with your youtube career

YOU ALMOST SAWED YOUR FACE UP! Also why didn't you just remove the gears instead of adjusting the fork?
The mean comments from behind the camera around min 5 😂😂
Next up the monster truck quad
Now we make the whole bike out of pykrete tubing!
Don’t tempt me 😅
Brilliant
It really liked me 😂
Are you extruding or just happy to see me
Interesting 🧐
Maybe you can make pykrete with the stuff out of diapers. It's interesting stuff.
12:19 he is on fivem physics xd
i got the exact same scales you got
Are you a pilot for a 737 cuz of the profile pic i had to ask...
That’s correct a captain on the 737 for the previous 5 years 😀
Do wax wheels next
So if we add more junk to future Glaciers...
They will melt slower...
Interesting....
Me: starts polluting to save the planet
Watching tom and sam be stupid is so funny
try casein graphene plastic
OMG, you don't understand or what? why front-wheel power???
A mono wheel with one wheel... something is redundant here lol
You should try making circular Wheels. Like, I suppose this might use some sort of advanced magnetism that you might not understand or have created yet but I feel that if you're going to keep working with wheels in not hover technology is where it's going
Damn, only 17.8k subs
been watching too much tokyo drift
I want a drift tri
Run water while drilling
easy use
Ice kart

Shopping trolley wheels would work better
all bicycles use 2 wheels
Turn the music down
wow
