Motorcycles on the other hand: you space out, almost hit something, swerve out of the way, hit something else and go flying in a shower of metal shrapnel.

It’s never going to be repaired for skiing on again.
I see a lot of really expensive looking skis (and boots) discarded by people after they've used them a few times. If you go to the recycle centre there are bins and bins of skis and poles and boots and they seem to have zero value - yet they must be quite expensive to buy new.
So much fun! And the Ska plus snow dance made it extra!
If the world ever had a major disaster or some form of apocalypse... this man will be ready.

While walking back from school, I thought about the idea of using some racket shoes ( the ones for snow) , and make them heat up. So it melts the ice and snow underneath!

@@AbesShenanigans I also thought about that, but I thought it would be useful for really hard snow or ice. Think about it, winter shoes are used for normal amounts of snow. If you don't want to sink into the snow, you use racket shoes. But what about walking on steep, hard snow or ice? The metal strings would heat up till red hot, and you could just walk through anything. Maybe it won't work but it's a cool project
Honestly I was thinking very seriously about something similar. Mine was more a flat metal box you put on the bottom of your shoe. Inside two spinners holding small magnets on the wing tips. Run wire up through pants to waist for power supply and a motor controller. Induction heated shoe plates, insulate between shoe and box to avoid burning rubber, choose insulation R-factor based on level of toasty feet you desire.

Looked like too much grip for proper drift, but too little to move it properly. Pretty hard combination on uneven surface like field, specially when there is potential small rocks on surface that rapidly increase grip momentarily.

Sounds like what you need, Furze, is an automatic ironing device - such as a mannequin you put the shirt on, then it has a bunch of holes in it that blast steam through the shirt and iron it out.
Hate to tell you but these already exist in the commercial segment of the market

I wonder how it would perform on solid ice with one of those figure skating blades (but big) in the front. Talk about upping the danger levels! This could be the start of a new series, adapting the trike to different terrain.
