I played in the 70s with a keyboardist who had a Mellotron. Most unique instrument I've ever heard, especially when played through a Leslie. Absolutely soul shaking sound.
The Mellotron strings work brilliantly in the context! I wouldn't even have considered them as an option. Great job!
