Poor Daniel. We know how he feels about baby goa'ulds when he's in his right mind, so the fact that he was used to make more... no wonder he looked shellshocked.
I find this episode really uncomfortable, but I love the Sam and Janet team-up.
A fun episode. And a fun character. But it always bothered me how everyone kinda seems stupid at the beginning, even before Hathor used her sexy magic 😏 A woman shows up at the mountain, knows about the Stargate, and calls herself Hathor, all within a couple days of discovering a sarcophagus on Earth and the murder of the archeologists that found it. Maybe…just maybe…she’s a freakin Goa’uld 😂
How are they stupid? They took her into custody and made sure she didn't have her fancy hand blasty thing. She also did her sexy magic the second she got near any man. Yeah, it's kinda weird they didn't believe she was a Goa'uld given what she knew, but it wouldn't be the first time sensitive military intel got into the hands of a total nut.
So many talk bad about this one, but I've never felt it bad. It is another world-building one. Take it for what it is.
I had fun with it.
@@MegaReacts And that is how it should be with SG1. The show does have some serious episodes, but as a whole, it is a fun show, and one should be willing to go with it, as even it knows what it is and doesn't try to be something else. I think those who are down on this one just forgot how to dance.

It primarily stems from the fact that the cast/crew really didn't like this episode and a lot of it get's retconned later in the series. So it kinda spilled over into the fandom from there.
I really enjoy this one but it's also incredibly cheesy, and I don't deny it. I do have fun with cheesiness when it's done properly.
This is one of the few that I skip on rewatch...the fact they didn't check her or believe Daniel at first is crazy. Appreciate how Jack is fighting it and needs a 2nd dose. Yes, Hammond is the best, and you haven't even seen him at his best. Sam and Janet are always great.
Check her how? Any man who got close got the sexy treatment.
