    I like the Fabreeze on poo analogy. I'm sharing this series with my daughter who wants to start recording.

    Thank you so much for this series. I've had my equipment for years and I've never really known how to use all of it, especially my software. I've watched hours of specific software tutorials, and while they were very detailed and specific, they were obviously not catered to me because while I learned how to do things like eq, compressions, etc, I didn't have a grasp on why I should use them. You do such a good job at explaining these concepts for non-professionals like myself and I really appreciate it.

    How do you put your recording with your video and match your lips with the audio? I'm probably overthinking this but I don't want to mess this up.

    • @samsmusichub
      @samsmusichub 5 років тому +3

      You can play the finished song audibly to sing along to while you record your video. Then in your video editing software you can import the video files and the song and just mute the video clips! :)

    Thanks for this helpful tutorial. I like your salt analogy. How long does it take you usually to produce a song, from recording all the various instruments, vocals, numerous takes, editing and then all the effects and mixing? It feels like quite a long process and always takes me several days if not over a week. The editing takes ages and then mixing is still not easy, at least for me. Don't you ever feel it takes forever?
    Also do you ever use something like EZMix 2? Or do you mix everything from scratch each time?
