I've missed that team so much over the years. Such a fun group of guys to root for. I was there the next night when they beat Rodney, my ears were ringing for days afterwards. Man, I do miss Mike, thought he'd be a Met for 10 yrs.
I remember this night like yesterday, watched the whole thing at my cousins wedding. We OWNED Doolittle in 2019. So excited to see what's to come in 2025
I remember watching this game in the summer of 2019. I was 11 years old, and I recall that this was Marcus Stroman’s first home start as a Met. His mom was in attendance, and he worked through some trouble in his start. Todd Frazier’s three-run homer down the left field line might’ve been the moment that I fell in love with baseball. I was lying down in bed with my mother watching the game, and when he made contact I jumped up onto the ground, absolutely elated. This specific game is extremely special to me. Man, baseball is beautiful.
If only Gare could have called this years post season…..GOAT

I was at this game and it was one of the funnest games I ever attended

The day Doolittle solidified being my favorite non Mets pitcher😂. I was not worried once he came into the game

Love this story!!
The 2019 Mets walked so the 2024 Mets could run.
Beautifully said 👌🏽
When Doolittle came into the game it was a guaranteed win for the Mets lol.
Damn I miss this team!
Why they posting the Conforto walk off now? Is this forshadowing his return?
Give up on Alonso and bringing back Conforto and signing Soto? I guess this is the way?
@@marcitos_9329Conforto could replace Winker to though
I was at this game. Amazing. I was so nervous
Don't forget that they also blew a lead against the Nats in the exact same year. 😂
Ahh I remember Wilson Ramos. I called him El Toro lol
That was the high point of the Mets season. Nats went on to win the World Series.
i was at this game man
i miss Juan Lagares amazing Center Fielder
Team was goat
No easy outs in that lineup
When does next season start
In loke a year almost
@ ok

i miss Mike mane
Bring back Mike
Who is Luis avillian😭
I was there
I say we bring deGrom back
Nope too old and too washed
@ you’re bugging, he came back and pitched this season. Pitched very well. And I’ll take that over Megill any day
@@isaacocasio3165if he pitches more then 50 innings next year, I’d be stunned. The Rangers can pay him to be on their DL.
I don't remember Joe Panik with the Mets
I definitely do not want back them right now but i miss Dom, Conforto, and Lagares. Everyone else not so much
