There is no comparison for me at all. Home Free's version is my favorite hands down. All the sounds including the drum beat, harmonica & jaw harp was made by the mouth. This is one of the most popular Home Free songs. It was the first song I ever heard from Home Free & I was instantly hooked. It really showcases the talent of these 5 men (their tight harmonies, Tim Foust's bass & Adam Rupp's incredible beatboxing). They are my favorite a cappella group. This song is very old (about 100 yrs.) & is done in the bluegrass country style. It was used in the movie "Oh Brother Where Art Thou" starring George Clooney.
Home Free 💯💯💯💯💯
So many people think that George Clooney sand the version in “Oh Brother Where Art Thou,” but it was actually Dan Tyminski of Union Station (who often perform with Alison Krauss). Their version is great, but I LOVE Home Free’s so much more!
Home Free. Every time! The drumbeat is their voices! The voice of Adam, the beatboxer to be specific.
I have no idea what that 2nd group was trying to do with this song. But they should have gone no where near this song.
No comparison, Home Free is better.IMHO
Yikes! The Charm City Devils version made me shut off the video and say a prayer. I NEVER want to hear them again.
LOL! so you missed my dulcet tones at the end? Shame on you! :)
