Young people, you will find out in time that as you get older you might not have the same energy as you used to have, and depending on what job you did heavy lifting etc etc.
Tell it like it is Emily 😂 Made me look at my bike and feel guilty for not cleaning it. As the weather closes in in Britain it's always good to make the most of every dry day, brilliant to see those bikes on the road, and what a treat for Jared 👍
What a fantastic adventure with your old man Joe! The way he lovingly looks at his bike that brings back memories of yore. He would ride it if it wasn't a damn kick start! It was so refreshing to see Emily the star doing some flower potting while you washed your dad's bike! You are a true gentleman & master of classic bikes! Cheers👌
Thank you Steve, always great to catch you in the comments pal! We had a great day and my dad definitely would still be tearing it up if he could start the thing!
I remember commenting on a WMC video, pointing him at your ride on the Meriden test route, because I thought he'd enjoy a bit of Triumph content from a kindred spirit. It seems that I was correct! 😊
I’ve been quite happy with Hagerty, too. Never had a claim but they seem to be the only insurance company that recognizes one can usually only drive one of one’s classic vehicles at a time.
It's greasy.. 🤣.. I'll go pot my plants.. There is a common bond when it comes to Motorcycles, Makes and Models regardless at times of the Brand.. That was a ride of a life time.. shot when it comes to going to the States.. Wahoo
Motorcycles definitely bond people and bring a community together. We’ve met so many great people through the riding community. Thanks for watching. Glad you enjoyed it.
@@TheWurks Yep sure do.. had hoped to met you both at Classic Motorcycle Show, but the weather first thing, don't mind getting wet, but drowned in riding over..! I find most any place when out or parked shopping.. someone has an interest in Royal Enfield, the Hmalaya or just fond memories of their bikes in past younger days or just maybe one for the futher.. as with my senior return. Now must be due time for this weeks video.. see me there.
The National Motorcycle Museum is a real treat. Pity it's a bit of a trek for me (but not as far as for Weems, of course!). I do, however, live only 20 miles from Sammy Miller's, so I can't complain too much! Have you been, Joe? It's definitely worth a visit and, if you're lucky, you may even see Sammy himself. He's as valuable as the exhibits!
Not sure how you two find time to fit everything in and work. We love the national Motorcycle Museum. Nice to say hello at Stafford. Keep at it, and best wishes from Richard and Carol
Did you get Weems into the Hinckley Factory? What about getting him over to the Royal Enfield Technology Centre? ...Can you imagine an Interceptor 650 with Weems Special Edition on the side panels of some sort of flat tracker or chopper? Now I'm beginning to wonder if the Sammy Miller Collection would also float Weems' boat? If the National Motorcycle Museum blew his mind, imagine how the Stafford Bike Shows or the "Normous Auto Jumbles" and Beaulieu Autojumble would have lit him up! ...lol Imagine introducing him to Allen Millyard! ....PMSL The North Coast 500, The IoM TT, Scarborough/Barmouth/Skeggy/Mablethorpe for fish n chips, Land's End to John O'Groats, or ANY ONE/TWO/THREE of the top motorcycle shows in Europe that are hosted in the UK! A road trip across the continent, to visit Moto Guzzi, maybe do the big Faro Show in Portugal, see the Norwegian Fjords and D-Day Beaches (to honour historic military sites?) Americans are awesome to watch when you blow their minds! I love Weems' positivity, and he is far more educated than he makes out, but a FULL European tour would be excellent entertainment!
Absolutely, we did make it out to Hinckley for a brief stop. We have trips in planning when time allows and alot of you list is up there as possibles. Thanks for watching buddy!
I’ve just seen the Triumph you worked on for Mr Dobbs and was shocked at the state of it. He hasn’t treated the bike as it deserves after your fantastic work. Disgraceful!
@@davidreed6817 …. and ‘selling’ videos. Interesting concept though ….. sitting at a table reading out viewers messages. A whole episode about neglecting to check his fuel tank level!!! I guess it’s paying his bills, but I was disappointed in the way he cares for his transport after the mechanic did such a stellar job.
Freddie makes no excuses and he is for sure getting plenty of use out it. Its great for us to see our work out on the road without issue. He’s covered the best part of 6k miles since we finished it. Anything that it needs in a few months gives more opportunity to create great content for everyone!
Emily's garden is so lovely! I had forgotten how simple the motorcycles were in the seventies, there’s almost nothing on them. Compared to my 411 RE Himalayan the handlebars look particularly sparse, almost no controls at all. Perhaps when you visit the US you can visit The Barber Motorcycle Museum, it's very impressive . Joe, you're going to have to explain, they're both BSAs but one's got Triumph on the seat and the other's got CCM on the tank and whilst they look the same, the rear brakes are different.
Hey Alex, Im feeling I need to do a video on the two explaining it all as a number of people have asked. Good spot on the rear brake though I hadn’t noticed an I built both bikes ;)
Great bikes are they starfires 250cc love the vid .I was going to put indicators on my Triumph TR25W now seeing you both ride with out I wont it would spoil the look of the bike .
Hey Michael, not starfires. A few people have been asking so I may have to do a video on the two explaining the nuances of them. Both bikes actually started out as T25 Trail Blazers
Hello Joe & Emily. Now completely motorcycles has gone bust have lost my Triumph dealer at North Chester. I will now have to travel even further for my servicing to Stoke or Tamworth. I am interested to know which you would recommend ? Look after me please as i did parade your Freddie dobbs & The Wurks sticker all round Europe & and the Alps recently. Many people were interested in the bike and wanted to know what the stickers were LOL Thanks Dale.
Hey Dale, I’m fairly sure you will great service at both but, I cannot speak highly enough of Staffordshire Triumph in Stoke. When you call ask for Dan and say we sent you he’s a wonderful chap! Thank you so much for your support buddy, keep flying the banner!
Minor correction… Mine is a 1970 B44 Victor Special motor built out to pretty much CCM spec in and Oif 70 T25 trail blazer. Dads is the same base machine with a 1964 pre side points B40 350 motor
Need some help. I saw the sign hanging up at the national motorcycle “Ambassador “. I have a 1947 ambassador with a 197 cc Villiers-engine. I cannot find any information on it. Could you find out if the museum has any information or documentation on the 1947 or do they have one on display? You can take some pictures of? Thanks!
Not sure if they have this information from memory. When we get time will have to make another trip and have a look. Will see what we can do. Thanks for commenting.
Don't change your energy or "energy".I get pretty tired of being screamed at by presenters trying a bit TOO hard to get attention. Americans can get over accustomed to everything being volume eleven. You guys are wonderful as you are. Look at Allen Millyard. He is incredibly low key and, when he has exciting content, he gets millions of hits! Again, you guys are genuinely appreciated
G’day Joe, what a bonza , ridgy didge video.
