Alaska Bush Pilot Experience

Ride aboard a De Havilland Beaver float plane with an Alaskan bush pilot from Ketchikan to Port Protection and back. Experience what its like to take off and land on the water. Cargo included two passengers, two dogs, US Mail and two tourists (us).

Such a gorgeous, yet isolated place from the rest of the world. And all from the perspective of a true old bush plane. I really enjoyed this, thank you.

Very nice video- I miss flying in Beaver's on floats, such a great airplane- we had one at A & P school in the 70's, learned all it's systems and came to love it. The R-985 made music from idle to full throttle. Man, what an airplane!
