That's exactly why they do it, why all extreme sports do what they do. They can never stop now, the drug rewarded to them in their brain for succeeding is too good
Caption and lack of shark attack can only lead me to believe that the diver was infact aroused by this experience
That's a beautiful, gentle encounter, nothing like the clickbait title suggests.
The tiger shark turned on him. it was going one way than turned toward the diver. Not clickbait.
Actually it was clickbait. Just like that diver could have been.
@@PseudifyHow the hell could the diver be Clickbait?????

A very calm and relaxed looking shark. No indication of wanting to attack the diver. Top marks for the diver too for remaining calm and not giving the shark any reason to attack.
Yeah, not the usual growling and posing with ears put back when ready to attack
respect for this diver for being so calm :)
He didn’t turn against the diver at all ~ it shows a beautiful grace
clickbait
It was literally turning 😂
The title is exactly what happed, the tiger shark was going one direction then turned on toward the diver.
He did turn he did a u-turn
Beautiful grace? Yeah, like any predator before they strike...
Shark: U a Seal?
This guy: no, wanna do a trick?
Shark: not a seal, not interested mate.
The shark was not attacking the diver. It was investigating and no more. The diver is at a popular dive site in the Bahamas where Tiger sharks are regularly present.
if it was attacking...it be over instantly
it was checking out whether that diver is food or not, but the diver's actions deterred it
Sharks like " STRANGER DANGER, I'M OUT"

Just might be the nicest looking tiger shark iv ever seen.
Yes, a very pretty/handsome buddy.
Yeah it’s stripped pattern is super visible and striking. A lot of tiger sharks are more muted and dull with a more spotted pattern, this is a beautiful looking shark.

Yes. She’s a beauty
The diver couldn’t swim away anyway, the size of those balls were anchored to the ocean floor
Shark: “I think this seal is a bit special, one more lap to make sure.”
It's a well known fact that sharks only attack you if you are wet.
😂
What??? 🤣
What?
Not true I've seen people get bit trying to release them
Kkkkkkk
1- Maintain eye contact
2- No erratic movement.
3- Stick to the floor.
4- Do not show skin
5- Do not be afraid (they see the electrical pulses of your brain).
Don’t break these 5 rules and you should be safe. Except you face a Maco shark!!
'Do not be afraid.' - sounds like an easy one.
You could shorten it to Rule 1- do not get eaten…
What happens with a Maco?
This is a tiger shark. Not mako.

Tiger shark was like “ooo come here baby.” Then it was like “too good for you 💁🏼♀️”
Pregnant and well feed. Lucky for the diver this day. Turned to get another look and thought about attacking, but wasn’t very hungry.
Not really, this is a typical inspecting behaviour. The shark is inspecting the weird presence they've encountered, check if it's a threat, prey or what the hell that is. Sharks don't prey on humans, but they might mistakes us for prey and take an exploratory bite (that may cost our live unfortunately). That's why attacks on divers are extremely rare. This guy is clearly used to swim with sharks, behaved correctly and resembled another apex predator to the shark.
@@joanalagoa2648 Most people still don't know sharks don't prey on humans. They have a pre-conceived incorrect notion and it's difficult to remove, unfortunately.

This diver did exactly what your told to do if you encounter a shark. You want to be able to hit that nose if need be but remaining calm is the best thing a diver can do while facing one the entire time. Educate yourself before calling someone else stupid.
@@jomoland Did you know that only about 6 people are killed by sharks every year? Did you know that hundreds of people are killed by bees every year? Thousands of people are killed by domestic dogs every year. About a million die yearly from mosquitos that carry diseases.
You can cherry-pick times when someone is killed by a shark, but you could also fill phone books with the number of people killed by far less intimidating animals.
Seeing that person next to the Tiger shark really puts their size difference into perspective and how, at any given moment, the shark can have his way. The man only lives because the Tiger shark allows him to!
Я бы поправил: пока позволяет Господь Бог.
well and tiger sharks are kinda dumb. so if you just push their nose gently, directing them elsewhere, that's where they'll swim to 😅
That's true. These encounters happen all the time with divers. The sharks are not as dangerous as they are portrayed to be.

What’s funny is that if at any moment that shark decided that he didn’t want the diver there anymore, he could change that in a near instant. Incredible restraint and intelligence is shown from this animal just in this simple encounter.
it didn't attack because the diver followed it, sharks are cautious, especially so when pregnant

What if two come ur way 🤔 i think that punch in the snout is not gonna work
I read the one in Egypt last month was a large female who was seen at the shore in the shallows A LOT before that attack happened, looking for food, she was really hungry. There is even footage from her hours before from another closeby pier. Humans could've prevented all of that by not dropping kadavers into the shoreline, attracting sharks to come close in the first place and more importantly: by watching her closely and closing beaches!!!
