SO COOL! I'm starting my path in a marine conservation career and I'm so fascinated and enamored with reef restorations projects. I think that's something I'll probably end up getting involved in. It's great to see that it can have such a quick impact!! So much progress in just a few short years!!
Basically it's a wildlife corridor. Only it's fish that use it not four legged animals. Wild idea but brilliant good luck with it, hope you make many more of them in the future.
Amazing work, please continue your efforts. It may seem like "a drop in the ocean", one day it will be the program that all marine communities champion and apply😁
Always glad to see hands on conservation work. That's what my daughter and I came down to in the inland turtle conservation organization we brought to life in north carolina USA. We couldn't find anybody actually doing such work so we rolled up our sleeves and got started. My daughter created our motto, this how we start, this is where we begin. Your project looks fantastic. Could these bridges slowly shift the reefs to deeper cooler water to combat the higher temperatures anticipated in the future? That would be a cool sustainable trick!😊
congrats on the project ,,, lets hope this info spreads as well as your project did, too other reefs and islands around the world, the fish really responded , build it and they will come ,spoon🥰🐟🐠🐡🐚 and thrive for your children's children to come
Did I miss something? How did the reef bridge promote coral growth? I get that the fish feel more comfortable above safe havens, but what's the benefit to having fish able to visit the smaller reef 'islands' separated from the main bodies?
I know this is already a year ago. But my first idea is that it promotes fish to migrate to a reef that is kore suitbale or less crowded. Another is that it enable them to find mates that are not the same bloodline or genes as them.
Humans have figured out they can get access to money if they appear to be “saving” something. For all they know they are actually creating disease highways and destroying evolutionary buffers and isolation. But hey, it’s funded and looks cool on a PowerPoint to ask for more funding.
Thank you. Amazing work. The world needs to save the ocean and plant trees everywhere.
Thanks for trying and caring, save the coral reefs, amen

The next evolution of humanity; an evolution of consciousness. Becoming Earth Guardians, instead of just mindless consumers.
Wow your a dreamer we have a history or one step forward and 2 steps back. But I hope your right but I doubt it
@@td4190youre right, we should just not try :)
@@td4190hm yes the atomic bomb and Generative AI are 1 step forward and two steps back
Absolutely. I'm ready!

This is so awesome! Hopefully other organizations will be able to model this around the world

This is amazing and so interesting. Thank you 🙏
Impressive! Well done! Keep up the good work! ❤
the voilet-blue ones are still there but hopefully those can have some attention as well.
Khurangbin kicks ass
Thank you so much for your work 🥺😍❤️
'Plant plants (land & sea), eat plants= save planet. Simple😊.
Billions of animals get destroyed with plant based food through farming.
Well done
How are those rocks that you use for foundation anchored down?
Wow the coral growth is amazing. Do the fish use it to cross to plain? Or have they just moved into it - as their new home? :P
It looks like both!
So cool
Cool
I really hope these new coral don’t start to bleach
Video too short!

Some fish keep the coral clean by eating algae, just one example. The more diverse an ecosystem the more resilient and healthy it is.
