Amazing quick workout. Used it to stretch out before going for a 6 1/2 km walk. Usually I’m so tight before walking and this really helped loosen may back. Thanks for sharing.
🙏🏻 thank you! I love your videos - always great moves - and quite often I’ve not come across them before, so I can add to my repertoire. Really lovely teaching and brilliant explanations! Thank you.
Oh that's so kind to say, Sarah. Glad you enjoyed it! My husband did this video the other day ands said the same. It may be foolproof, but it will give you a workout... 😆🙏
@@KalmPilatesChannel I've started doing this everyday coupled with yoga. I have a back injury that has kept me pretty immobilized. Honestly these workouts are what help the most. ❤
@@KalmPilatesChannel Thank you, and i sure hope there is a recovery in my near future. To be specific; I have two herniated discs, a lot of nerve damage, and even arthritis in my hips. This has been an ongoing thing for going on two years now. I normally get injections but unfortunately there has been a hiccup in that manner. So I've really got back into pilates and yoga. But I still fear i will never be as i once was before the pain and suffering. 😔
Oh Sarah - I hear you. I know from working with back pain sufferers suffering from similar issues as yours that we can get huge improvements, but that it does require management on an ongoing basis. However, it should get easier in the sense that the time of being pain-free should get longer and longer. Do you normally get cortisone injections? Is this for your back or your hip? We may never be able to go back to what we were, but I believe we can find a new normal that keeps us pain-free for most of the time. Sending lots of love and support 💖
Hello, just starting this today, fingers crossed that I can get stronger as I am living a nightmare of 24/7 lower back pain due to chronic back injury and genetic anomaly of my spine. I have been through PT and chiropractors....so the very first exercise I had trouble with and seems like all my tension and stretch was in my legs. Can you help? the rest was good and I seemed to do well. I can tell you after doing this and having a hot shower I have no pain! thank you!
Hi Kerry - based on what you mention above, I can help for sure. Do you have particular questions? Feel free to put your questions here in the comments. Also, although you have a genetic anomaly and a back injury, you have already experienced from doing the workout once that you can take pressure off your back , and so this means that Pilates will most likely work well for you! Also, just to get your awareness of what is affecting your back, have a look at the free training - knowledge is so important when dealing with chronic issues as it helps to create a framework of how to improve /cope / get better. xx
Hi! So, if you didn't have issues with the routine, you can do this as often as you want, but you will see results from doing this workout every other day. However, you mention you have lots of trigger points so there are a few issues there... would you mind emailing me and I can find out a bit more about which moves are causing the issue, so that I can advise a way forward? My email address is sarah(@)kalmpilates.com
