ABB Robots work at BAIC, China

BAIC is one of China’s largest electric car manufacturers. To increase the efficiency and flexibility of its new facility in Qingdao they've installed over 160 ABB robots throughout their factory, including the press shop, painting line and body-in-white.

I saw such industrial robots at the Porsche factory in Leipzig, where the body of the new electric Porsche Macan, which will be launched in series production from September 2023, is being made. Well done to the ABB company!

These ABB robots ensure in future all automobiles will be manufactured to a high specification dependable standard. Now if only we can convince ABB Yumi & GoFa robots to design clever, attractive interior and body designs, that'd be great.

People the day is coming or it might be here already. where a factory will have no one inside at all, and all we will see is the raw materials going in and the finished products coming out. And not a single human being anywhere in the production of the product at all. At some time in the future we are going to witness the last human being some were across the globe in the process of making products in a factory, when we see that, then it will be a total Automation process of manufacturing globally.
