Carter will mostly be in at slot his true freshman year. It gets him experience PLUS, if he makes a "freshman mistake" (all freshmen do), it's not as serious as, say, he makes a freshman mistake at TE.
What do you mean without lifting weights, every high school player in history has to lift weights, shoot, we even had a class where we lifted weights.

Until Nebraska beats Iowa three years in row THE ENTIRE NEBRASKA FOOTBALL PROGRAM IS OVER RATED.... Year in n year out we hear Nebraska will be good yet they can't even finish .500, losing to a woeful offense Iowa team eight of last nine years including seven in a row. I don't care if ya have Tom Brady on the team, if you can't out score Iowa with QB's like Petras n Hill how ya beating the big QB's that OSU, Mich, PSU, Org, USC has?

Husker Online is changing its name to the Kool Aid salesmen. He is a freshmen. The level of play in the Big Ten is waay different than Ainsworth. But you cant tell me that say metro Detroit high schools last year wont have didnt produce at least 5 recievers that will progress way faster and higher than Carter Nelson. Fidone has been hyped since high school. He is OK but not near Big Ten caliber. If Fidone has a great year he may aspire to be an undrafted free agent. Maybe average UFl player
Maybe, maybe not. Perhaps you should research how many great Nebraska players--and later pro players--came from not just Omaha but small towns in Nebraska.

@@Shawn-p4r Rhule had 1 year with those guys. Lets wait until the guys he's actually developed over a few seasons start entering the draft to judge that. Historically Nebraska put a ton of small town guys in the league.
The dude talking about my Sister cant think of any football related answers for my opinion. Small town Nebraska very different than the 70s when kids from small town grew up and played in the 90s. Small town Nebraska today are places where the people left are in their 60s. Or a few towns where college age people play futbol not football
