Yes, I mix one dye base with a concentration of about 5 grams of alginate per liter and then make all the colors with it. Good saturation of mandalas takes time. I apply layers of dye, wait for the fabric to saturate and add more. I repeat this until it is enough. But I don't always succeed either, I'm working on it)

Are you using thickened dye for the tight mandalas? I cant seem to get the dye to fully penetrate, even tho ive gone over it several times.
