Thanks so much for this easy to follow tutorial. I love it! I've finally found a setting tutorial that I can actually understand. I'm going to give it a try. Getting square and half round wire here in the UK is not as easy as in the USA. I think I'm going to spend some money at Rio grande and pay the ridiculously high tax bill for delivery here. It'll be worth it in the long run.
Honestly, how you manage to not shoot the stones into oblivion, I will never understand, I’m a clumsy goof! Your artistry and control’s absolutely brilliant!!
You’re saving me because I accidentally ordered all these tiny Stones not knowing much about carats affect the size and such! 😮 I have all different shapes though emerald cut marquise pear lol i’m going to put a grouping together and see how I do and practice on brass at first then do it on silver. I have to watch to the end and see how I could adjust this to make them into ear cuffs but I think I know how. It’s a lot of work but worth it it looks the best 7:37
Hi Raftark, I'm an italian beginner in the wire 'wrapped' world :) Your mastery and patience are incredibile! Love all your videos, I hope to complete one decent project very soon! In particular I'm very much intrested into stone setting of all sizes. A question: can this kind of setting be suitable also for a ring? I mean just with the little 3 mm gems. I'm inspired to do a birthday gift ti my niece and I've got some little emeralds. It would be fantastic if you'd like to do a tutorial for something like this! Thank you very much! Honored for your kind attention :)
Hi rafhi rafftack not sure if you seen my last mgs ..can I ask where you got those small stones from please and what do you call them ur work is amaizing thank you take care
Ok, I heard it. Raft, May I ask where you purchase your wire? It’s soooooooo shiny and the give of the wire is so much easier than the stuff I use. I’m so limited on funds and I can’t buy wire only to find out it’s not good quality.
I used 20g halfround sterling silver in half hard. Four 6in segments and one 1ft segment with plenty of wire left over for more stones! I source all of my sterling silver for these videos from www.riogrande.com Hope that helps!
This is the most simplistic way of setting, definitely trying next! Thanks for all your teachings, very appreciated..
What a novel way for setting these faceted stones. Thanks again for all of your hard work to educate us in the art of wireworking.
A lovely setting for a ring. I will give it a try! Thank you so much for such super designs!..
YES, this is exactly what I was looking for. I have really appreciated your last few setting tuts, you're a G!

I’m definitely trying to keep ‘em coming! I’ve got one more (hopefully later today) then I’ll be off for the weekend
@@RaftarkJewelryI'd say you've fully earned that time off. 💯 Thanks again, for this *and* everything else you do for the wire community, too!
