If you don't want the protagonist to endure much hardships then you should look for genres that give you what you want. Want a FL who kicks butt and has so much plot armor its stupid?: Beware the Villainess! You want a couple who fall for each other without unnecessary drama?: "For Better or for Worse" Do you want a proactive FL & ML?: "Saving My Sweetheart" Do you want a revenge story that both ML and FL communicate in?: "A Marriage Alliance for Revenge." It all boils down to which genre and sub genres you pick honestly.
But in this story you will be shocked FL lead is a total baddie girl boss and would do whatever it takes to protect her family with ML and ml is also someone who is super devoted to FL they understand each others scheme and play along so well a gem couple I would say

Why would the civilian council be reinstated when most were just in jail and some were under investigation for treason? I would say this was the dumbest but by 3:25:00 Naruto at least finally exercised his right to deal with them permanently but I'm disappointed none of them was explicitly stated to be Sasuke, Sakura, and the 3 main council members who never learn or listen.
