My '07 2500HD classic 6.0 2wd has dual "off-road" exhaust, no crossover and 30" long glasspacks with turndowns. It sounds different than all of the dumped Flowmaster, clapping straigh-piped, Cali-leaning Chevy trucks around here. It has a good deep sound that's actually kind of quiet at idle, but it comes alive when you step on it. The only other thing done to it so far is a custom DiabLew tune. It runs pretty good. It is almost to 201k miles.
This vid convinced me to get the flowmaster flow fx for my 05 sierra 2500hd, can't wait to hear it!
Sounds really nice! Good for a work truck, won't wake everyone up but got some heat at higher rpms!
wish GM would just go back to its roots and reintroduce these with simplicity in mind and no AFM. it would sell like hotcakes....
