They didn't worry about continuity much in this movie. Sometimes the Dodge Polara is a 4 door sedan meaning it has metal frame around door windows and a "B" pillar between front & back doors. Other times it's a 4 dr. hardtop which means no frame around windows and no "B" pillar. When bad guys follow melon trailer delivery Polara changes from sedan to hardtop as it goes through town but turns back into sedan as they reach delivery point and crush driver's legs against the dock. But what the heck, the F100 front damage changes back and forth and rear window's rifle rack comes & goes so maybe they didn't even have a continuity manager on the payroll. I know one thing, Bronson is one strong sumbidge if he can kick down a Ford tailgate w/o lifting the handle first to release rods in tailgate from brackets on the pickup bed. Shame they didn't follow up with a 'Mr. Majestyk II' :D
05:47 The Polara became pillarless, or no post separating front and back window. When the car first comes into the scene, it has a post. Just a boring observation to share..
Outstanding stuntwork by everyone here. The cylindrical piece of wood comes out downwards - and the Polara flips upwards - for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction:)
Al Lettieri's character wasn't one bit concerned about the Polara occupants after it rolled to see how they were. He more often than not played villains in the movies he appeared in.

If there was ever a movie Ford could use to sell light pick up trucks, this is it.
Was thinking the same thing
They did use that movie footage in a truck commercial. I think for the ‘74 F-150

Well he was able to keep from flying out of that truck while it did all those antics so kicking a tailgate open would be easy peazy
