"and to whoever owns the cartridge, don't worry your profile is still there and I'll give it back to you to go back to your adventure from where you took off."
That's rather wholesome in my opinion. Found a random cartridge somewhere, and instead of keeping and treating it as your own, you're willing to give it back to whomever it may belong to.

The best intro I’ve experienced so far. No loud, annoying music!

As a kid I got lost in games like pokemon blue and mario 64. But even as I grew up I explored completely games like Vice City, Skyrim, New Vegas and so on. As I got busier as an adult it is a little harder to invest so much time in a single game because there is so much I want to play. But I still really enjoy the atmosphere and worlds of many games, it's still my favorite part of gaming. Newer games like Metro Exodus or Control or the Outer Worlds all were great experiences, but I didn;t get completely enveloped in them like I did as a kid. But I try my hardest, haha. Great video my man good job!

Yeah it does take a bit of imagination sometimes, but I feel that if you have to force it then its clearly not captured the magic. 😀

1:26 THAT'S SUPER LUCKY! You hit the jackpot that day, for so many people LoZ is their most nostalgic game.
2:30 Yet again I've never played Wind Waker but I know it has a well loved legacy. Open waters, multiple islands and beautiful art style are all what make this game stand out even to someone who's never touched the game.
4:00 This expression alone on his face would be enough to make him my favorite Link out of the lineup lol.
5:24 So many games are the perfect embodiment of escapism. Oblivion is definitely one of the top dogs in that boat.
6:41 The exploration in tombs or ruins that some games let us dive into really speaks to my childlike wonder. I often look at old buildings or locations and wonder what it was like when it was first built. Something as simple as seeing the footage of Bayek walking through the tomb with the hieroglyphics lighting up as the torch passes by just sparks that childlike wonder for me.
7:45 WHOA THAT DRAWING OF SCORPION IS AMAZING! I'm a huge MK fan lol.
8:19 That ending hits hard, well done.
Another awesome video speaking to an aspect of gaming that people don't talk about that much. For me I think the games that really speak to my childlike wonder are Mega Man Legends 1 & 2. Exploring ruins, finding treasure and discovering Mega Man's mysterious past. All those points have kept those games in my mind all these years later.

Yeah your Childlike video was amazing too dude!
I'm very happy with that Scorpion drawing, I think I wanna do a new one for sure!
And I loved just exploring world's and tombs in games like AC because it just makes me feel like I'm on my own adventure no one knows about.

Majoras mask introduced me to zelda because of the creepypasta BEN drowned (yes really), and thus is my favorite.
Oblivion introduced me to true open world rpg gaming, and is my favorite one of all time. I also love skyrim and is the one i spend most of my time in on my switch (as my laptop can't run skyrim).

Man you are throwing out some bangers ~ love me some exploration though. It’s why Skyrim is so dear to my heart. It was the first game that felt like an actual world. Weird how when I look back things look so stiff

Thank you I'm glad you liking them!
Yeah even going back to oblivion it's the jankest thing haha but I will trashed the memories I have with it and even skyrim.

Personally I can't relate in terms of childlike wonder with Zelda because... well, I didn't grow up with nintendo and still to this day haven't played one but, in terms of childlike wonder for myself and exploring and getting lost in an adventure and world the first that come to mind are Oblivion and Fallout 3 (maybe not so childlike but I was about 11 when I played them so I think that counts xD) It's getting lost in a world, exploring and as you said not taking it too seriously and having fun. Great video as always mate and a really interesting point of discussion that to give a better answer too I'd need some serious time to think :)
