She's dead, I believe. But still guarding the shrine. Other animations have her wielding the samurai's sword, so she did win in the end!

@@ZurditaDinamitaI'm not too knowledgeable on Japanese myth, but from I'm pretty sure those Torii gates are what can summon spirits, so the samurai cutting it is closing off other spirits from coming to help (or he's just making rubble to prevent them from escaping :P)

Specially Mamiko fought that Evil samurai.
And came out different.
It tells that she fought so hard to resist and destroy that samurai in cost of her arm and her life. Now she's undead and still serving her gods and her temple.
Disney isn't failing actually but sure

Most of there Movies bring in as much money as they did 5 years ago. They destroy there franchises like Star Wars, Marvel and so on.
Disney is just such a big company so it take a long time of doing dumm stuff until they fall.
So yea 3-5 more years of that and they will fall.

巫女から逃げてた狐が最後寄ってくるの関係性が良くなってんのかな
鎧武者が来る直前まで、その二人はお茶を飲んでいたので、関係は最初から悪くないと思いますよ。
仕える神である狐が、好き放題なことをするから巫女が困っている。禁止ではないけど、できれば表に出てほしくない。
礼儀を重んじる優しい巫女と、少しおてんばな狐の神さま。そんな関係かと。
同じ『怪異』になってるからでは……

狐は炎や狐の像を降らせるなどある程度の攻撃ができるので戦いそうですし
狐だったら隠れる？能力があるので扉を閉めなくても大丈夫そうですし
あの武士との戦いのあとに包帯の姿になっている…

刀持ちの相手に片腕だけの負傷って手練すぎる
これセリフないから日本人だけじゃなく誰でも意味がわかって楽しめるのすごいよね…セリフないからどんな感情なのかとか想像も膨らむ…
I love how the spirit doll protects her from evil spirit. But when the hunter came to protect the child ,she prioritises protecting her spirit friend who is afraid of hunters.❤

If this compilation is meant to make me even sadder to see how badly injured she got in the end to the point she even lost an arm, it's working.
I thought the arm was in one of those splints where it's held across the chest, and was simply under her kimono
It kinda seems the shrine maiden got turned into a spirit herself the red eye makes it look like that
i rly wasnt expecting the maiden to turn undead like that so sad

@@azurecreed9119 I'm guessing she's just a spirit now as well cause it's very far in the future? There's modern looking buildings behind them in the last animation that I don't think were there in previous ones

コレおシリーズ大好き。
巫女服はボロボロなのに対して決戦のとき履いていなかった靴は無事っていう細かい作り込みが好きです。

The doll in the beginning was like "you shall not past"
Seeing her turn into what seems like a zombie at the end is kind of heartbreaking. Though it seems her mannerisms haven't changed.
Although the shrine maid lost an arm, took several other injuries and had her broom broke, the fact she fought a samurai with just a broom and is still standing is badass, and suggests thing did not end well for the samurai…
Uhhh her entire skin wrap in bandages, has a glowing red eye and lost an arm with her hair being discolored and a mess.
She either is a spirit or undead
She most likely lost the fight because she turned into an undead

I think the Miko somehow won the fight against the Samurai. You gonna see her holding the Samurai's sword once in a while in other shorts.

where’s it from
She tried blocking a blow with the broom, the blade cut through the upper half of the broom swiftly, and went clean through her arm. Little details on the models of the character and her tool paint what happened to her arm so clearly. This animator truly is a blessing, I'd love to see professional films made with your work.
I mean who is gonna try to block a sword with a broom, especially after seeing it cut through your entire archway!
