I give thanks to the Source for allowing me to come across the first Castaneda book 50 years ago. Today I have the whole set, and no other books compare.

I tend to agree. A very valuable treasure trove of what are potentials as a human being are, and how to achieve these treasures.

Live by DOING. do not imitate some else's destiny. It's an impossibility.

@@And3Ado3 that’s a good point, and pretty much in alignment with Carlos’ teachings. What I find valuable isn’t a mindless clinging to what he says, but rather the abundance of tools within myself that he made me aware of, that once eluded me when I was caught up in day to day nonsense. If one has the courage to use those tools consistently, your own life’s path, whatever it may be, will lead you down quite a rabbit hole.

Fell in love with these books. Even if people say its made up fiction its full of great knowledge, and ive read them multiple time, and as i change they change. Different every time.

As someone at the end of the beginning of the journey you seem to be on as well, enjoy, it’s nice to know not everyone interested in this is able to see what you so eloquently stated. But what do I know? Lmao, really!

As much as I wanted to listen to this I cannot do the robotic voice, actual narration adds so much.

I first read his first book in HS(1973?). I then reread it and the next maybe 5 books after. I never did quite get the full understanding because of my lifes challenges at that time. I'd love to find and reread his books now(I'm 66yrs old now).

This is a great compilation of powerful quotes from the Castaneda books. But, I have to agree that the A.I. narration is a total turn off. I would rather some real person with a squeaky voice or a lisp read this then the robot.

Yah there are some off the cuff interviews with Castaneda where he is quoted by other authors and journalists, he says some kinda bizarre things in some ofthose interviews that dont make sense to me. My guess is this is either fake or comes from one of those interviews without context.
