I went to my first tournament (CEO) 2 years ago and there was a double slo-mo moment where the entire audience screamed in anticipation for like actually 10 seconds and the energy from the crowd in that moment was just the most pure, amazing and indescribable feeling I’ve ever had. Moral: go to a fighting game tournament it’s fucking insane.
Funny part about Majins run is that, he went to vegas for vacation and decided to attend the tournament because he never entered a big tournament like that and he just destroyed everything
For me Personally, as a pakistani, Of course Arslan ash winning EVO las vegas and prostrating would be my most favorite tekken tournament moment ever and I hope he gets to make many more historical moments like that in the coming tourneys !

Arslan Ash ❤️ - Had visa / passport issues 💳 (its very difficult to get Japanese visa for Pakistani people) 🇵🇰 🇯🇵 - Had to spent a whole day at airport ✈️ - Reached Japan 🇯🇵 in 3 days after changing a lot of flights - Sometimes thought of giving up and not participating in tournament 💭 - Didn't get enough sleep 💤 And so much more problems 😢 (maybe we can't even thought of) Still winning the tournament 🥇after defeating SO MANY good players around the world 🌍 Truly a LEGEND ♥️💕

I have tried watching, following and playing all sorts of (e)sports and games over the course of my life. Soccer, Table Tennis, Badminton, shooting sport, Basketball, Swimming, CSGO, Overwatch, Hearthstone, Yu-Gi-Oh etc. But nothing got me as hooked on as Tekken. It's a game everyone can buy and play and have fun with but simultaneously it is also due to the nature of fighting games extremely fun to watch as well. Top 8 and finals often have such close matches I sometimes think they are scripted and bribed but no it is 100% real. The pros are all very likeable persons, they proofed their passion towards the game by travelling to tourneys although the pricepool used to be unbelievably pathetic and still is compared to other game's, afaik they don't suffer from burnouts and age is not that relevant to be a pro as Knee, JDCR, Nobi etc. showed us. Some of them also stream and offer follower/subscriber matches. The game is purely skill-based and has one of the best balancing I have seen. The commentators are Tekken players themselves and are involved since I don't know when. I wasn't at a tournament myself but the crowd at masters events esspecially in the US seem extremely hype. The slow-mo effect and rage system in the 7th iteration just greatly improved the watchability of the game. And thank god Bandai Namco finally released Tekken for the PC. I would have played Tekken long before T7 if they released it for PC sooner. The community is relatively humble and friendly. I made 4 new friends within a night of Tekken Quick Match. Whilst in OW and CSGO I had to deal with salty voice comms every 2nd match and made a new friend only every 3 months or so of actively playing.

We are proud of Arsalan Ash. He did amazing game. He became world's best player from a underdeveloped country where eSports doesn't considered as a proper career but rather a time pass thingy. He made everyone proud and answered all the exceptions and question being raised while keeping him self focused to eSports.
