Check out medical access, you may wait for months to see a specialist. Only one level 1 adult trauma center in Arkansas. Great children’s hospital in NWA. Great place to live!
Red places are BY FAR the most accepting places. Great video, I was offered a director position at Walmart so I have been a bit concerned about the move coming from Michigan. Thank you for providing a transparent window to the area!
Have lived here for 34 years, while I left for a 5 year stint. This is by far the nicest region in the nation. If there's better, I'd love to see it! Weather, air, water, outdoors, distance to everything, dining, entertainment, watersports are off the hook as Beaver is the crown jewel in NWA! And what makes it all work so well, it's a red area so we have all the amenities, without the insanity the rest of the nation suffers from. So the takeaway, if you're thinking of coming, leave your blue habits behind and you'll do just fine here.
I got my first vacation home in Detroit. Assisting my recreation . With the National Speleological Society Detroit Urban Grotto and Michigan Technological University Department of Social Studies Society for Industrial Archeology. I expect to dig Arkansas also. Because I choose to. Probably little more than the Stone Age to be found under Bentonville but elsewhere in the Ozarks ?
I moved to Bentonville last April and loved it here but the housing like everything else is getting very expensive!! I'm looking to buy a house maybe in Siloam Springs, Gentry or Gravette. I don't mind the rural areas since the bigger towns are only a 15-25 mins drive.
I currently live in Pine Bluff, AR....but I have been researching other areas in the state of Arkansas. Bentonville and Conway are top of the list for me... I have 3 children and education is very important, (PB)schools are not offering a great level of education, therefore, I'm homeschooling for educational purposes and too, Pine Bluff's crime rate is steadily increasing and I just don't want to take those chances with my kids. I understand crime is everywhere I just want a lower crime rate and that gives me peace of mind!
I grew up in Bentonville and yes it’s a conservative state but NWA is a liberal area compared to most places in the South. There are LGBTQ communities and diversity. The way I always saw Arkansas was “live and let live”. Although there are those hateful stereotypes, that’s not the norm. Like AR passed medical marijuana bc we’ve been using it to treat ailments for decades bc there used to not be hospitals for hundreds of miles. I grew up with “nature is our medicine”, which some people perceive as hippie. We used to be anti-government, pro individual freedom, and minding your own business. There’s still a lot of that mentality with generational Arkansans.
I’m shocked. You and your CDA realtor friend put videos out like this about North Idaho. It influenced us greatly. Now we are frustrated with the 21&22 winters and I’m looking to move to NWA and find you already bailed. 😮
Thank you for this. Maybe we will be neighbors some day. Looking at moving from the desert in NM to be a little closer to water and farther from people.
Heard that last from folks departing Roswell, NM. Their fossil water changed from gushing out odd Troglodytes to onset of salty water moving in from the Gulf of Mexico. Uncertain quality water issues exist in Arkansas also. What with using sinkholes for garbage disposal the water table is now at risk.
I live in San Diego, if it's affordable everybody would be here, we are way overpriced here, it protects the community, sad but true. Rumor has it many high end Homes in NW AR was bought with PPP money driving prices up 25% in year, be careful, 2nd home and rental buyers made this a preferred area for those freemoney guys, don't move here a hoomer, you'll get bit.
Saw San Diego and why Trumps Wall into the Pacific Ocean could not go west far enough. On the plus side all accidental needle-stick concerns on your beach has at each high tide just enough lift to put most on a slow float ride into Mexico
If you are wanting to stay in the same industry we have a few different options: Carrol County co-op, Ozarks elec, Flint Power company, & Swepco My limited understanding is they are always looking.... MANY of other industries are also looking for hard workers
Sir I really appreciate your video, I’m a conservative Christian looking a place to live in NWA. Can you recommend me town which is more conservative and safe?

There is no safety for the careless or our unlucky. God helps those that help their self. God bless 12 years of public education. A farmer told his 1912 US Census, " I'M AGAINST PAID EDUCATION PAST EIGHT YEARS FOR CHILDREN ; IT JUST RUINS THEM FOR PEA PICKLING".
The biggest problem with NW Arkansas is that it’s in Arkansas. I grew up there. Parts of the state have some natural beauty, but that’s the only positive. By every other measure the state is a dumpster fire.
The state is the 3rd worst in the nation, Little Rock - Memphis - Helena - Pine Bluff all have 5 to 9 times the national crime rate... NWA has 1.3 of the national crime rate. Just shot a video about it and will be posting it soon
California has had at least two mass departures of the TEA. To Idaho. The latter had to raise taxes to build more social services. Like bigger jails and schools. The second arrivals from La-la Land found fewer economic choices apart from the potato picking season and yet another tax rate rise.
This is the best place to live I moved here 2021 left a few times and always come back

Red states are indeed very accepting as long as you are white, straight, male, MAGA, a gun nut and a Christian nationalist.

I'm from Sandpoint, very interested in moving to Arkansas, this place is so expensive now. You made a great video, thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Funny thing is NWA used to get 8-12 inches of snow once a winter..those days are gone
Global warming for real huh? That’s concerning
@@debo2189 well we did just get a crazy snow storm, out of school for a week lol
