Running a 95’ mercury villager in a few days, dual leaf in the rear looks strong and a strong looking front end, everything is steel not aluminum and with the suspension welded I got 25 inches (63.5 cm) to the top of the bumper and easy to strip, and it’s 5x4.5 bolt pattern, running in a mighty mini class (small truck, van suv)

If you could and have one take a high lift in the back window and pre bend roof up and quarter panel down a little. Not a whole lot but enough to make a difference.

On the 05 you should chain the exhaust to the radiator support or the motor will drop back and you will lose gears

You will want to loose the rear hatch for visibility later, especially on the 09, as that hatch is mainly plastic.

Did you loop your tranny lines? And did you cut your heater core lines that go to the back of the van and loop it up front? I got an ‘05 caravan. Thanks

Leaf springs are trash on those vans. The 09 rear end is extremely hard if you use it right.

You both should take out everyone else first before you take each other out .. at least you both can see how long they will last .. but it will be great to see..
