For the life of me, I don't know why they were all spearing the brakes to avoid front end hits. That's the way to stop a front wheel drive. That sure took a lot out of that derby because the front wheel drives got a lot of speed on that big firm track surface.
That mystery machine was in really good shape, even after all those hard hits. I wonder if there was some steel reinforcement done.

You can't wreck a unibody...its MUCH stronger than a body-on-frame vehicle...unibodies just don't bend
Your only party correct frames and stuff are not nearly as thick, stock compact trucks a explorer could take on a van
