    Nick makes me happy to know there are still good mechanics in Gresham! I’m glad 9th was able to get some adjustments after that epic and beautiful trip you took this past year. I’m excited to see what adventures await you! Take care!

    Hi there!
    Nice build .... i would suggest that you drill some 2-3 inch holes into the sides of your cabinets to further reduce weight.

      Hey Rock, I did think about that, but I think the chunk removal has made a big difference so far. I may remove some more wood at some point in the future, so thanks for this suggestion. Cheers!

      LOL! Do not be fooled! I feel you, as I have owned 2 VW Busses and 2 Westfalias and I LOVED them when they ran. Ninth has never left me stranded ANYWHERE. I like the confidence to travel without the worry of a break down. Cheers!

      I have had 2 VW vans till I learn how the front offers no protection, and I decided that was possibly important to my health and life. But, they look so cool I am tempted.

    • @NinthElement
      @NinthElement  Рік тому

      Good point JKart, also, they often don't have heat and there is no air conditioning. They often break down and leave you stranded if you do not fully modify the engine and such. Every time I see one I think "Oh, how I miss my Westie, could I get another?" and then my memory reminds me of broken down days gone by. Pick a Honda Element, you will not be unhappy. Cheers!

    Hey Mindy 😊
    I was surprised fred didnt use his whole saw and drill holes on top where your mattress goes..
    1. For removing more weight .
    2. More importantly for ventilation for your mattress so no mold/mildew.. wasnt that a thing in van lifers to make sure you didnt have your mattress on a flat solid surface?

    • @NinthElement
      @NinthElement  Рік тому

      Hi Ellyn, I decided to not drill holes on the roof of my kitchen cabinets so that dust and such would not get in. I purchased a high grade foam from an upholstery store in Florida that had a mildew blocker in it. It is going on 8 months now and no issues. Thank you for this suggestion. Cheers!

      Hey JKart, currently I do not have a Link to these seat covers, as I believe that they are OEM. They were a gift from one of my Subscribers. Check out the Honda Element Forums on FaceBook, and you may get some guidance there. Cheers!

    Did you do the lift kit for ground clearance or to compensate for having the weight of the build?

    I wanna go see this wizard….most Mechanic’s and Garages prefer us not to be under the vehicle, but I gotta see what’s going on. Thankfully my mechanic doesn’t mind mechanic-splaining to me

      Hi Christine, they may not let you roam around under your rig like I did, as I was covering content for the dealership, the lift and my channel. You will have to ask, and knowing Nick, he would want you to see under your car. Cheers!

    Where did u take 9th to be weighted? A truck weight place. 🙏🏽😊

    • @NinthElement
      @NinthElement  Рік тому

      At a State Scale. I know that in some areas you can go to a Truck Stop and pay for your vehicle to be weighed. You could also try your local landfill. Cheers!

    Shoulda Put in AIR BAGS.. Not the lift kit. With the Xtra weight your still going to bottom out your springs .. regardless of lift.

    • @NinthElement
      @NinthElement  Рік тому +3

      Nope, not necessary at all. I have added a stronger sturdier Springs, Suspension, Wheels and Tires. I wanted this SUV Lifted just like this, and I can live with the fact that this is not your choice. If you have been watching this content from the beginning you would understand that we did not put a big enough spacer on the rear of the car. That was mainly why it "looked" and was saggy. Geometry my Friend, but thanks for your input, No Air Bags needed. Cheers!

    • @otahu26
      @otahu26 Рік тому +2

      @@NinthElement hahaha.. heavier Springs or not. The rebond of the shock is changes, tires are going to wear faster in the rear due to chamber changes.. It's still going to sag with the xtra weight as the HD springs are only 200lbs heavier... You didn't even need to reply. I work on this crap every day..and solve problems like this every day for people for save money over time.. but it's your money.. So enjoy. LOL

    • @NinthElement
      @NinthElement  Рік тому +2

      Hey Now, no need to flex your muscles. Let's learn something together and share it with the world.
      I just fixed it with the 2 inch spacers. This is the list of lift gear that I used:
      ✔️ HRG - 1 in (26 mm) Subframe Kit for 2003 - 2011 Honda Elements
      ✔️ AEROGENICS x Swift/Husky-Grade REAR SPRINGS for 2003 - 20011 Honda Elements
      ✔️ FRONT SPRINGS - OEM HONDA - a gift from Nick, thank you!
      (Please keep in mind these Springs were FREE to use right now, I understand that they will wear out faster, and I am fine with that)
      ✔️ AEROGENICS Front & Rear Camber Kit for 2003 - 2011 Honda Elements
      ✔️ AEROGENICS Billet Aluminum Lift Spacer Set 2.0" Front / 2.0" Rear
      ✔️ BLACK RHINO BOXER (flat black wheels) 16 x 7
      ✔️ FALCON WILDPEAK A/T3W (235/70 R16 109T XL RBL)
      ✔️ ELEMENT44 - CUSTOM LOWER CONTROL ARMS for a 2003 Honda Element
      Please share with us what I have had done wrong, and what do I need to fix it.
      Thank you!
