I just saw this movie today with my grandmother and father and though it was amazing!! Most of those songs were fun and energetic, but this one reminds me of Grease's 'Hopelessly Devoted to You".
I loved Annette, I wanted to look just like her when I grew up. I want to be the good girl just like she was in her movies. I guess that kind of succeeded I've always been with that is a good girl even though I'm almost 60 now thank Annette!
I have not seen the beach movies in a long time. I really liked them as a kid in the 70's. I think Annette had the best on screen chemistry with Tommy Kirk and Frankie A. I know she was pals with both in real life as well. She even dated Frankie for awhile. This song is sweet, and so true. Girls and women today can still identify with this song. Sometimes we realize too late how much a person meant to us, Second chances are hard to come by. The same with guys as well.
