Right?!? It been a long time since I’ve used it (probably 15+ years) but I just love them! Definitely try them again and report back on if it seems them same as 20 years ago
I forgot about it I have 2 tubes from 2001 lol I did love it than & that why I googled this product I never see any of the old school stuff like this stuff, from PM awapuhi I love the product I still buy it and it around but it never No one talks about it ! straight out of the bottle just it on the thing you can't walk around do something else waiting for it to do its magic!
The products are still great! I have been using cellophanes from Sebastian for about 20 years. I did notice the new formula is less messy and stays longer on the hair after the wash.
@@TheAngeSchofieldweird question but can we add hair colour tint to the clear cellophane to make it give a subtle colour tint compared to actual change in hair colour?
It has been what my colorist used on me ~ once per quarter to strengthen the hair and brighten the color. Mine was the ice blonde. I am trying to find and buy now to do it myself. It is the reason I found your video as I was trying to understand whether I can skip/replace the heater part 🙂
Yes it’s kind of hard to find a true Sebastian product unless you buy from their site. You can just put a shower cap on but then it will have to sit for 45 min or you can do the shower cap and sit under a dryer for 20 mins ❤️
Is there any way to tone hair as we grow out our gray to keep the brass under control with a toner. I was hoping there is a way to do it with conditioner and wella toner... see if this makes sense 1 part toner 1 part 10 volumn and 1 part conditioner. Not being a beautician no idea. but with curly hair I want to tone and make sure I save my curls. Love your channel. :)
For the toner to actually work you will need the developer for sure. No need to us the conditioner because that will dilute your formula and you definitely want to be sure you have enough color in their to tone out the brass. So I would just use wella t14 or t10 with 10 vol. if you are worried about dryness I would just do a deep conditioning treatment after 💕 thanks for the support on my channel
I did a CELLOPHANE HAIR TREATMENT in a Salon in Dubai and after doing it my hair has been falling drastically!!! My hair has become so weak and fragile I can’t even touch my hair otherwise it will start falling!! This is what CELLOPHANE has done to my hair! 😢 Any advise please on how to stop the hair fall after this treatment?!?
I almost wonder if what you got was more of a smoothing treatment/keratin treatment. Cellophane shouldn’t create fallout due to its semi permanent process. It doesn’t adjust the inner hair structure, it’s more if a coating/top coat treatment. Sorry I couldn’t be more helpful
Zero gray coverage with the clear but there is some cellophane with color. You would just find one that matches the closest and it would provide some coverage
No this one is clear so no color to it but they do have other options for it various colors and tones but it’s a semi permanent product and will only blend the gray not cover jt
It's last 4/6 weeks I use this stuff for years it just add shine! You can go wrong I just forgot about it I use all the new stuff bc of hair hairstylist! Ugg I love them but ya know I don't know if olaplex is all that I've used it for a year idk pure it's on UA-cam I like it it older stuff but it's good also
It’s so good 😂 it has no color in it but not sure if there is a specific ingredient in hair dye you are allergic so I grabbed the list of ingredients for you. Ingredients. Water/aqua, PEG-12 dimethicone, Benzyl alcohol, propylene glycol, hydroxypropyl starch phosphate, citric acid, phenoxyethanol, hydroxyethylcellulose, xanthan gum, hydrolysed soy protein, methylparaben, benzophenone-4, hydrolysed wheat starch, D&C orange no.
I thought the CELLOPHANE SHINY HAIR GLOSSING WAS a hair gel and i been using it every 3 days after I wash my hair and leave in. It’s this bad for my hair?
O no!!! How does your hair feel? I have never come across anyone doing this so it’s hard to say that lasting effects and if it’s bad for your hair or not, typically I wouldn’t recommend doing it more than 4-6 weeks for short hair
Not at all, I would say it’s probably the best treatment for your hair that is semi permanent. It restores hair by replacing missing proteins in the damaged areas while protecting healthy hair from future damage
I used to use color and clear cellophanes ALL the time! They were great 20 years ago - I may have to revisit!! TY 😊

Aww thank you!!! It’s so amazing for that shine and softness
Yes it's been around for a while. Very good product
Agreed for sure 😍

hi! planning to buy the cranberry red from sebastian will it work on my natural black hair??
You may just see a tint or glaze of red in the sun. Unfortunately these will not lift black hair
hey! did you end up buying it? how did it turn out?

Sebastian the og 😊… How long does the bottle last? Thank you.
So true! It all depends on the thickness of the hair and how long it is. I’ve had 4-5 applications out of one bottle

Correct you can just do a shower cap and sit out in the sun 🥰
Will it provide light gray coverage? I used to use cellophane 20 years ago, but now I have some grays…

Holy crap I thought it's gone I can't believe it on the market
Still around 🥰
Yes! My mother was the one who told me about the product
Can I use it every week?
I wouldn’t do it more than once a month depending on how often you was your hair
So, no deep conditioner after this?
No need to since this is so conditioning
Is this product hard on your hair? I'm trying to avoid any product that may inhibit growth. My hair had been thinning due to stress.

You didn't sit under heat
Shower cap for 45 min is also ok
