- This is the story of Gayle and Jasmine as they returned from their trip to Jamaica. They had a connecting flight to Barcelona that was to link them to London, and on that flight, things took a drastic turn. Eric was annoyed that he had a black, Gayle, woman sitting next to him and he had no qualms expressing his distaste. He called her all sorts of names and when Jasmine tried to interfere, he spoke over them both and even threatened to have them thrown off the plane. Meanwhile, none of them knew who was right behind them all the while. And when the plane finally landed in London, things took a drastic turn in a way none of them could have expected.
This man was allowed to fly after his racist rant!
He should have been kicked off the plane.

Not only did the influencer stand up against the racist, he also followed through after the flight, and made the airline pay for not training attendants to kick the racist off the plane. He's a true ally and wonderful human.

It’s a shame people are STILL so ignorant! I used to live in New Mexico. I went to an employment agency for a job. I heard them speak to the prospective employer. They actually lied about my qualifications, stating I typed many more words than I actually did. I went for the interview. I actually got the job, no thanks to the agency, because my new employer was called by the agency telling them that I was “colored”. Apparently the employer would have been able to determine that I was Black. It just so happened that my new employers happen to be attorneys. I was told that since the employment agency happened to mention that I was “colored”, that they violated terms of the contract I signed, therefore, I owed them nothing. The attorney called the employment agency and told them he would take them to court if they ever tried to charge me a fee. Thank goodness I was working for four attorneys who did not care what color I was. We all got along very well!

We are all created equal by our loving God. The difference is our hearts, and our hearts is what is going to get us into heaven, not the color of our skin.
My heart goes out to the woman and her daughter. They did not deserve this type of treatment.

The people who witnessed his actions did the right thing in helping these women and by giving their testimonies against the man’s bad behavior. No, the flight attendant wasn’t prepared for this situation; retrain them all… don’t fire him for making a mistake in judgment. Give the attendant a chance to redeem himself. Use the video as a teaching tool of what your company does not and will NOT tolerate in anyway. Mr. Meanie finally got what was coming to him because this probably wasn’t the first person her ever accosted in public but felt emboldened because he previously got away with his bad behavior due to white privilege. Not This Time! Karma came back to collect and dolled out a hefty fine that Mean Mr. Eric will be paying for a long time. Best he stay in the house 🏠 with his toxic attitude that nobody else should ever experience. Bravo to the brave man 👨 who was willing to shut the bully down. I worked for a V.A. Hospital. I became a good nurse in a Renal transplant dept. But my love was COOKING. I kept applying to the kitchen. My dearest friend that I worked with who was of Color told me (white me) my skin was way to light to be hired in that kitchen. It broke my heart to know even our government was still prejudice! I left them and moved to Wisconsin.

I was coming home from Jamaica and an elderly black women needed help getting up to the washroom i stood up and put out my hand to her at first she was hesitiant to let me help her and she look at me i smiled back then she let me help her i am a white woman and i wasnt thinking about colour i was thinking she is elderly and she needed help. Simple colour shouldnt matter ever.

The airline SHOULD also have been sued. They regrettably through senior personnel should have made an extra effort to de-escalate the ensuing unnecessary brawl. Seeing the flight was still on the ground, the police SHOULD have been called. Whether or not this is a true commentary or not, they SHOULD have sued the airline also.
Agree with everything...except, this was not a brawl. The palm-colored man was the only starter and source of this incident. He harrassed her...tried to because of her beautiful black skin and seems to have physically assaulted her as well. Yes...sue in every day possible.

I 100% agree w/ the 2nd and 3rd statements, the 1st, I agree... but the melanocortin 1 receptor gene is pretty awesome too... (Not ALL white ppl have it, just mainly the redheads ;) ) but higher pain threshold, increased anti-fungal and anti-inflammatory action/processes, etc... (and disadvantages, freckles, higher incidents of skin cancer etc... ) but the melanin heavy folks will have the advantage as things heat up from global warming...that's for sure.
