For those small roads in england you dont need that much, its almost not possible to get everything out of 1000cc bike

Where i live filtering with motorcycles is allowed, cars have to make way by law for u if they dont u can get a fine.
@@wouterstein4387 same thing here in the state where I live, but they definitely don’t move over and they will honk at you and tell you you’re going to die on the bike and all kinds of shit. It’s cool to see these videos though.

You not worried about getting a £100 fine for that exhaust? I've been contemplating whether to risk getting the racing line or not. The Euro 5 compliant exhaust sounds terrible and worse than stock.

@@wouterstein4387 Yeah new Euro 5 legislation in the UK unfortunately. Not to mention, there are now noise cameras being deployed that will fine you automatically. They have them in Chelsea already...
@@FatBiscuitYT Do you mean 1K fine for a noise camera catching you? if so i dont buy it, a stock s1000rr at idle is nearly 90db, what are they gonna do, ban the bike?
@@hisride I actually misread the article that says its a £100 fine but can be increased to £1k if not paid in time and taken to court. I believe if a cop stops you its a £50 on the spot fine. The limit for motorcycles (different to cars) is around 89dB if I am not mistaken. But still, a cop can choose to take your bike off the road so is it really worth the risk?
why are you cutting or blipping the throttle while upshifting with the quickshifter? Genuine question.
Smoother shifts, adding higher load allows for a better ignition cut so you don't have a clunky up shift, or a stuttery one.

@@Bigman-kq8iithe power never gets boring on the mt09, the mt07 i got bored of the power when doin my test on one, so im glad that id done my test with one as wouldnt of been impressed with havin a 07 to the 09 i bought 🤣 night and day difference 👍🏼 had it neally a yr and never got bored of it
Own both, the only thing the 09 is superior at is 80+ highway speeds, and the cruise is nice. Longer trips and touring = MT09, anything else the 07 is a lot more fun.
why do people rev before shifting up with quickshifters? is it just for the sound or should i start doing that too?

@@Yxmmie but ive seen so many people so it too, i think its because of the blip sound when upshifting, if u pay attention that umph sound only happens when he blips the throttle right before shifting. I don’t think its good for the clutch tho
@@TheAlek0202 The clutch isn't used when you gear with a quickshifter.
@@realgucman the clutch lever isnt, true. Do you think hears just magically switch or would you assume that the clutch and gears within the engine block are controlled with the shifter?
