A little one asking for Erik's autograph......that's so awesome.
Can't wait to see you break those old boxes. Hope I can get in on those for sure. The past is screaming back with each of your videos. Thanks so much for sharing.
Amazing! The National is the best! The last time it was in LA (2006) I was there everyday all day - literally could not get enough. I walked up to every dealer and wanted to buy something from everyone. Great video, glad you guys had a blast.
I’m surprised Charlie Hough’s rookie wasn’t chisled out of stone.
lmao best comment all day
Nice video, I was at the National on Friday and Sunday...omg the deals I got on Sunday for '69 Jackson $95(raw but absolutely dead centered with sharp corners and great edges), '63 rookie, '64, and '65 ($80), '68 Rose, got a '70 Jackson, '71 Jackson, '76 Jackson,
'60 Yastrzemski rookie (absolutely pristine raw, dead centered, sharp edges/corners, great color) and this guys on the end were selling Jeter rookies ('93 Topps and Upper Deck) $2/each. ...lol I bought 20 Topps and 20 Upper Deck....not many deals on Friday but Sunday absolutely deals to be had
The centering on that 1981 Topps Harold Baines was about as perfect as it gets.
Man, all those cards! A slice of heaven right there. So overwhelming. It'd take years to go through all those tables. That one table with the shelves of wax boxes was pretty sweet. Thanks for posting!
I always enjoy these older videos
Great video!! That place was amazing!! Love 84 Donruss. Was very hard to find back then.
Thanks for sharing!! God Bless!!
Awesome haul of wax boxes! The National is the MECA for card collector's!!! Wow. Thanks for sharing!!!
What a cute kid to come up like that, I'll bet that makes the hobby even 1000x better.
Great video. Was at the National in Anaheim Convention Center back on 1991. Place was huge.
Two of my all-time favorite sets, 1983 Topps and 1984 Donruss. Can't wait for those breaks. Thanks Erik for the peek into the National for those of us who couldn't make it.
Amazing Footage... Great Pick-Ups…!!! Thank You for keeping the Card Hobby Alive.
Sooooo many awesome cards. I would be overwhelmed.
Thanks for this vid, brought back memories of the old days for this oldtimer. I will try and make it to the Atlantic City National.
Great video Erik. Love the Dunruss and Topps boxes. Keep up the outstanding work.
Thanks for doing this. So many baseball cards!
A markup on junk Wax at the National! Classic!!
@@darklordojeda its Topps '52
Love the UA-cam fan that found you. I bet you made his day.
Looks like you found some great finds at the National.
You all needed a shopping cart. Love the videos, been a subscriber for about a year now. Keep up the great finds
I hope one day the national will come somewhere out west. Maybe I'd finally be able to go. Thanks for the video sharing the experience!
I would grabbed one or two of those 83 Topps boxes as well if I was there, love that year. Makes me wish I had went watching this. Look forward to the next video.
Thank you for sharing the trip. It looked awesome I hope to go next year
My 1st Jersey was a 84" Graig Nettles Padres Jersey. Thanks for the first person view Eric. Go Padres!!
Go Padres!
Looking forward to throwback Thursday with the 83 and 84 boxes...
Also got a really cool framed Joe DiMaggio and Marilyn Monroe autograph picture with both signatures authenticated and a cancelled check signed by both and authenticated....
I can wait for you to post these break videos.. I am actually going to send you a box to break live and donate to collector's
AWESOME VIDEO!!! Going to the one next year in atlantic city! Right around the corner from me
Enter covid...
@@tonymoretti2347 Ugh it kills me
@@KingArthurBaseball things back to normal in 6 months. Thanks to Western medicine!
1:43 wasn't expecting that at the card show. Nice!
You should do a video of your private collection!!!! :) please live your vids keep it up
I would also like to see that. I would also love to see his barry bonds rookie collection!
I was drooling this whole video. I can’t wait for next year in AC! I live close and it’s gonna be a blast!
I went on Saturday. It was just phenomenal with everything that was on display and for sale.
Thanks for the tour... great for those of us unable to attend
Great vid I decided not to stream the national but I had lots of fun you bought some cool stuff
Hey Jabs Family, I’m a huge fan!!
I was there too! Great time! I picked up a raw 1975mini Hank Aaron. I then promptly walked over to SGC to get it graded. I'll be receiving it in the mail in two weeks, I'm hoping for at least a "7" "Near Mint".
I've been waiting for the 83 Topps! Very nice. Can't wait.
i love the old box i still look for them around here
That guy you are taking to at 3:50 is Tom! He was our local card shop guy in Madison til his shop flooded :( nice guy!
Anyone looking to see if you made the vid?😂 awesome stuff Erik!
always love to see what you bought
Loved the first day video. I can't believe how large the venue and the number of exhibitors there are. I would love to attend the convention but flying cross country is so costly. I know the National is always held in the east. Atlantic City is too far from WA but, I would consider Ohio. Thanks for the great first day video.
1952 topps packs are at 13:22 your welcome😉😁😁
I sooooo want to go. This video makes me serious envious lol !
Very cool Erik, I hope to be able to go to the Nationals next year.
I would have loved this been forever since I, ve been to a show
You found some great deals...very nooiicceee
Great video Erik. Some really cool pick ups.
You had TWO kids stop you and ask for your autograph! They watch all the time! Thats awesome!
Whenever i took my son to a big show-i would be having heart palpitations to get around & grab some bargains before they would disappear! if you run in to friends or dealers you know-its like "cant talk now-crunch time-ill catch you later & we'll talk...."
hated when you would just miss the bargain of the day.
Oh-but to be there early-and stumble on something special-its as addicting as anything else in the world!
MY Favorite-got to a show early around 10 years ago, stumbled on a 1953 tops satchel paige for $15....one of our best finds ever-several creases-but colorful! -i asked him later why? (after it was secure in our pocket of course)... just a collector who set up at a show to sell off his doubles he upgraded over the years.. charged us what he paid for it 20 years ago.
My SONS best bargains-he was 10, we set up at a small show to sell off doubles, & my son walks the floor & comes back with a $25 purchase (without asking first to make sure it was a good deal-which was unusual), thought he was going to hand me a red sox jersey card of kevin youkilis-thats where he was at... he hands me a 69 nolan ryan, decent card-some wear-but no creases! i was SHOCKED! Very proud moment for me.
After watching this video-we just dragged out the books with those cards in it & relived those moments-THANK YOU for that!
Mr Alex
It's funny watching Erik and Jon. They're in full on flea market mode. Good buyers. I'd love to go on a journey with them some time
Love the 84 Donruss and the 83 Topps!!
Sickler
Ha! That kid asking for an autograph was a great moment.
Los Angeles area use to have Mall Card Shows, in the 1990s. I miss them shows. Or any card show for that matter!✌
What's the plan for the '83 Topps? My favorite set.
I went to the national when it was in Baltimore a few years ago. It really is amazing to see everything that is there. Makes you realize how much material is really out there. I said I wouldnt go to another National though unless I had a minimum of $5k spending money to take along. If I won the lottery, the National would be the best day of my life.
I just saw your video of the flea market in Youngstown. You bought an autograph baseball with six autographs, and the seller thought it was an Indians baseball. Did you ever figure out who signed the ball? That video the comments are disabled.
Nice stuff! I will be there next year.
Ive always wanted to visit one of these
Thanks for making this video! I tried so hard to get down there for a day from Madison, WI, but just couldn't make it happen. Hopefully one day though! Do you think it's worth it to buy modern (2018 & 2019) boxes at places like that, or is there little price variation?
so awesome!
Great video Erik, that looked awesome, want to go next year I better start saving now
Man this looks fun but super overwhelming ha. Might have to go next year in Atlantic City since I'm not too far
Good stuff Erik! Looks like you guys had a really fun time.
Amazing place! Wanna see what you got!
Very nice pick ups!
One of the best videos you've ever released. Also, you should've bought that 1952 topps pack
Erik, you are loved by fellow collectors. You truly spread the wealth.
I was there on friday. I live minutes away. Will be back in 2 years
I wanted to go so bad this year but couldnt get off. Next year forsure. Next year it's at Atlantic city, so I'm definitely going to spend some serious money haha
Cant wait to see what’s inside the wax boxes...
Awesome vids
Awesome video Erik
Lil' dude gets an Erik Jabs auto from The National.
He will be bragging about it to his friends for the entire new school year.
lmao
Wondering how you carry the boxes around the whole time or do you take a cart in.
Who knows?
Great vid
Baseball exchange booth was one of my favorite booth spent to much with them.
I made a stop a local card shop in
Northern suburbs lot of old wax at a good price
87 Topps Bonds is Iconic
That show looked huge! I would go bankrupt there.
Awesome.
Hopefully one day I can make it there! Atlantic city is not that far from me in Pa
Love the auto requests. Nice finds, looking forward to TBTs
This is part 1 or is this the only part
Hey jabs great vid
Love 1984 donruss
You got some good deals from the $1 bin
I was there on the same days only Wednesday and Thursday. I bought a Joe Montana PSA 10 for $9,500 I thought it was a great deal.
I have a one in NM/MT condition lol not graded but seeing the price you paid for a PSA makes me feel good about my purchase lol
It’s on eBay for $120 if you’d like to add another lol
I could spend so much money there. It looks like a lot of fun though.
Nice giving out autos! How much does a Eric Jabs autograph run currently! Great video man keep up the good work budd!
I always love your posts guyz! I actually get a little jealous sometimes from the stuff you've been able to pick up over the past year I've been watchin ya (e.g: oh man the stuff in Ohio u bought was unreal at the prices u got em for!) hahaha! My question is: do you guys keep some/most of the cards u get for your own collections, or do u basically buy & sell? I've been in & out of the card business since i was about 8 years old.. All the best & continued success to you!
I would spend thousands of dollars here. I could probably get 2 years worth of videos out of my purchases.
I am planning for 2020 in AC!
Jabs throwin some money down!!
I got back home last night and I'm already having National withdrawl. My wallet isn't, though.
You gotta get cards that are gonna go up in value
Hey Jabs you should do an entire baseball card collection!
Can't wait
