Love Ed China but Ant’s really shows off some skills fabricating new parts all the time like this roof or exhaust and numbers in the past. Top work
I think Ant is more skilled than Edd to be honest. He lacks Edd's on-camera honesty and charm but you can't deny his fabrication skills are outstanding; And yet so many people still give him hate because he's not Edd.

Just bought a TA22 celica. Always loved the shape and styling... The 70's were such a good era for car design..

They get a lovely original rare as hens teeth example, then stick in the wrong engine, paint it matt black/grey with black bumpers, it looked awful at the end to be honest, what a shame.
Removing the aftermarket sunroof is fair enough, but applying blackboard paint with a roller and blacking out the chrome bits isn't restoring the car to its former glory.

I have two....one is for sale. However...it needs a TON of work. The one that is for sale, donated alot of organs to the restoration of my keeper. It does have most of the original motor. These were great cars. Had a lot of fun touring around New England in one in 1975.
I currently own one. Same model but in orange. Great car. Parts very hard to find
If they would have jammed a v8 in this car I would have loved it. Very under powered.
At the begining, i was thinking " Ed is gone, the show is going to drown, nobody can replace Ed" but then, i watch a couple clips of Ant, and i have to say, it's different than Ed, but it works pretty well.

I had a green one. It got stolen in 2015, just after I built a special 1750 2t on bike carbs . It made 130 bhp

Worst thing to do to a car was put in an after market sunroof. The leak they rust they're noisy and worst of all the devalue the car.

Edd is great but this guy is also very knowledgeable and that was a real time consuming fiddly job that needs skill. Mike Brewer is someone who goes shopping :end of

£11,550 + 54 man hours @ £50 per hour(if your lucky) adds another £2700 = £14,250 and Mike, the so called professional dealer, is jumping for joy at getting £12,000 for the car.

I own a 76 celica and the previous owner also drilled the top for a sun roof.....🤦♂️🤦♂️🤦♂️ had to cut the top of another celica and weld it over.

Another episode where Ant puts in a few thousand dollars worth of labour and the Mike sells the car for a pittance more than the parts cost. How he can ever claim to be a "wheeler dealer" when he virtually gives the car away makes me laugh. He would be out of business in a week. It shows how little he adds
to the process. No wonder Ant had enough of the porky one and left the show.

Len Sharps why do you think that? He’s skilful and a good teacher. If there is a fault it’s with the film production condensing down the repairs we all love to watch. If you were asked to take over from Ed what would you do differently?
