    I've got a fever. And the only prescription, is tunable cowbell.

      Truth. I'm glad you made this video, as I had no idea about these people. Their stuff is crazy! DIY 808/909? Yes, please!

      Those cases look very nice I couldn't find a price for the guts of the system, though.

    Nice demo! Some great sounds, especially the snare and clap on this machine. The kick seems to be pretty different, much more upfront and punchy than the 808s that are closer to pure sine waves. Maybe this is more like the stock sound and I'm thinking a kick mod?

      I dont know, there are a lot of mods you can do but i built this to e-licktronics spec , im no 808 guru but this sounds good to me and im happy with it :)

    Very nice build! Cool knobs, the tempo one and instrument pots especially. Bought mine pre-built (because I suck at soldering) but these knobs look great! Easy to source? I'm now in love with the Nava, which due to the formentioned soldering skills I'll probably get pre-built as well some day. :D

      Thanks, these knobs are available in the e-licktronic webshop, i bought them with the kit. I have built the nava too, its a bit more difficult but not that hard.

    Is the Erica enclosure any better or worse than others?

    • @Acidoo
      @Acidoo  8 років тому

      Print is better than the one off the forums ( i have both) and it is a bit slimmer. I dont know about any other enclosures.

    How easy is it to build this or the nava without having much soldering experience?:D
    Tr8 doesn't quite do it for me, heard a real 909 and 808 in the flesh you see;)

    • @Acidoo
      @Acidoo  8 років тому +1

      Both are pretty easy if you can solder, troubleshooting is hard on the other hand if something goes wrong . Yocto have less components and takes less time to assemble. just follow the build-guide and you should be good.
